5 minutes
to the airport

Parking at London City Airport may seem like a costly option, but we do our bit to bring you discounts here at Holiday Extras with the Greet and Go Meet and Greet Service.

We've selected this service, operated by Butterfly Parking, for it's so convenient. You just need to drive into the terminal car park (taking a ticket at the barrier) and meet your Butterfly driver. They will then transfer your car to their nearby secured car park for the duration of your trip. When you return, they will bring your car back to you, so you can head home without delay!

Avoid the hassle of transfers with Greet and Go.

Need to know:

When you're about 20 minutes from the airport, call the car park to let them know you're on your way. This is important as if your car spends too long at the car park you may be charged a hefty fine.

Once you've arrived at London City airport, drive to the on-site car park (formerly known as Long Stay). At the car park, you'll come to a barrier, where you'll need to take a ticket to get in. Then, drive through and park your car in a space. A uniformed Greet and Go driver will meet you and you'll need to give them your keys and the ticket from the barrier.

All you need to do then, is unload your luggage and walk to check-in, 3-5 minutes away.

After youve landed in the UK, call Greet and Go to let them know youre back. Then, pick up your luggage and walk to the on-site car park again where you'll be met by a Greet and Go driver with your car.

Youll also be given a ticket so you can exit the car park. Youll be required to pay an exit fee. If your car leaves within 10 minutes of it arriving at the car park the fee is £3.50. If your car leaves within 30 minutes of arriving at the car park, youll be required to pay an exit fee of £8.00. After this it will be £5.00 for every 5 minutes.

Accessibility:

This service is suitable for customers with limited mobility, as shuttle bus are not required.

Security:

While youre away your car will be parked at a secured Park Mark awarded site.

The small print:

The car park only accepts vehicles with a maximum height of 2 metres and width of 2.5 metres.

The car park is open from 5am - 10pm Monday - Friday; 5am - 1pm on Saturday; 11am - 10pm on Sunday, so you won't be able to drop off your car outside these times.

You will need to make sure your car is in legal roadworthy condition with full insurance, road tax and MOT otherwise you may be liable for any extra costs incurred by the car park.

When you get back, you should show your copy of the booking confirmation ticket and pay any supplementary parking charges otherwise the car park may not be able to return your vehicle to you. Any damage to your vehicle must be reported before you leave.

You'll need to arrive as close to your booked time as possible. In extreme cases, if you're more than 20 minutes late, you may be charged a £30 waiting fee. Its important that you call Greet and Go 20 minutes before you arrive at the airport to avoid any unnecessary charges.

EXIT FEES:

On your return youll be required to pay an exit fee to leave the car park. If your car leaves within 10 minutes of it arriving at the car park the fee is £3.50.

If your car leaves within 30 minutes of arriving at the car park, youll be required to pay an exit fee of £8.00. After this it will be £5.00 for every 5 minutes.
