Getting to terminal 4
- Heathrow Hoppa (H4) and Heathrow Express - From the hotel hop on the Hoppa to the Heathrow central bus station and from there catch the Heathrow Express to T4. The journey will take about 20-25 minutes.
- Free public bus and Heathrow Express - Catch a bus from near the hotel to the Heathrow central bus station. From here simply walk the short distance to terminals 2-3 where you can catch the Heathrow Express (from platform 2) to Terminal 4. In total we recommend giving yourself between 20-25 minutes.
- Taxi - Taxis to T4 take 10 minutes and costs around £15

Advance tickets cost £4.50 for a single and £8 for a return. If you buy your ticket on the bus it's £5 for a single, £9 for a return. If you're flying with the kids, one child aged 5-15 can ride for free with every paying adult and children under 5 travel for free.

Getting to terminal 4
- Heathrow Hoppa (H53) - Transfers on the shuttle bus takes between 20-35 minutes
- Free public bus and Heathrow Express - The free public bus runs to the Heathrow central bus station and from here it's a short walk to terminals 2-3. Next, hop on the Heathrow Express train to terminal 4. Allow yourself around 20-25 minutes.
- Taxi - From the hotel to T4 it's a 10-15 minute drive and will cost you around £20.
Heathrow Express Train
At Heathrow, transfers between the different terminals are fast, free and easy to use. The Heathrow Express shuttle train runs every 15 minutes between the Heathrow Central station (terminals 2 and 3) to both terminal 4 and 5.

The Ibis Heathrow
Flying from T4 and looking for a hotel with modern comforts, friendly staff and is great value for money? Allow us to introduce you to the Ibis at Heathrow. The hotel offers free wifi throughout, 24 hour bar, and a welcoming (and reasonably priced) restaurant. Everything you need is all on-site. The rooms themselves are tastefully styled and practical, equipped with a standard en-suite, free wifi, TV, tea and coffee making facilities and hairdryers on request.
To get to terminal 4 from the hotel we recommend catching the Heathrow Hoppa (H56). The shuttle bus will pick you up from outside the hotel and will take you straight to T4, so there's no need to worry about making any changes. In total we'd recommend giving yourself around 30-35 minutes to reach check-in. Alternatively you could book a taxi which usually takes between 10-15 minutes.
The easyHotel isn't our most luxurious terminal 4 Heathrow hotel but for a simple and cheap overnight stopover, it's perfect. Our customers consistently praise the friendly and helpful staff, the comfort of the bedrooms, and how easy it is to get to the airport. The rooms may be small but are clean, soundproofed and boast comfortable beds, practical en-suites, TV and free wifi. The hotel doesn't have an on-site restaurant so when it comes to grabbing a bite to eat we'd recommend the White Hart pub, located just a 3 minute walk away. There's also a communal kitchen area with vending machines, kettles and microwaves.
The Heathrow Hoppa doesn't run from the hotel to terminal 4 so the easiest way to get to the airport is to book a taxi - the journey will take just 10-15 minutes. To keep your transfer free you could always opt to catch the free public bus to the Heathrow central bus station then go on to get the Heathrow Express train to terminal 4. This route will take about 30 minutes.
Mercure hotel Heathrow
For a pre-holiday treat, that's easy on the wallet, be sure to consider the 4-star Mercure. Alternatively you could catch the Heathrow Hoppa - it doesn't run to terminal 4 so you'd need to take the bus to any of the other terminals and from there use the free Heathrow Express train. Please note this route can take up to 40 minutes so is best if you have plenty of extra time.
