London City Airport Parking FAQs

Where can I park at London City airport?

At London City airport we offer packages for the Terminal Parking, London City Long Stay and Butterfly Meet and Greet car parks. All are within walking distance of the terminal so really do offer the ultimate in convenience. You’ll be given a map and directions in your booking confirmation too, so there’s no need to worry about finding our car parks.

Will I be able to keep my keys with me?

This depends on the type of parking you choose. With both the Terminal Parking and the London City Long Stay car parks you will get to keep your keys. The Butterfly Meet and Greet is a valet service so you will need to give your keys to the professional driver so they can park your car for you. Don't worry, your keys will be kept safe and returned to you when you get back from your trip.

Are the car parks secure?

The car parks we use at London City Airport are secure, and hold the Police awarded "Park Mark". The Park Mark is given to car parking facilities that have demonstrated their concern for safety and taken steps to ensure they are secure and safe from crime. Security measures range from perimeter fencing and floodlighting to CCTV and 24 hour security patrols.

What happens if I’m delayed and don’t get back to my car at the time specified?

There’s no need to worry at all. Your car will remain in its space until you collect it and you’ll simply need to pay any excess charges upon your return. These will be charged at the car park’s gate price. In extreme circumstances, Butterfly Meet and Greet may charge a £20 waiting fee if you are over 25 minutes late to your booked time.

Will I need to make the full payment at the time of booking?

We always take a full payment when you book with us, and you’ll get a confirmation email just after, which you can keep as your proof of purchase. If you’re worried that you might need to change your arrangements that’s fine, simply take out our cancellation insurance for just 99p and you’ll be entitled to a full refund up until 24 hours before your booking starts.

Can I amend my booking after it’s been confirmed?

As long as you haven’t booked one of our non-amendable and non-refundable packages, you can amend your booking up until 24 hours before your reservation starts. Simply contact us.
