Seventh base for Jet2.com
Over 130,000 seats and 250 new jobs are being created at East Midlands Airport with Jet2.com adding seven new flight routes from its new base.
The low fare airline has invested substantially in the Midlands, and will be offering new services to Corfu, Dalaman, Heraklion, Lanzarote, Paphos, Tenerife and Sharm el Sheikh. Departures are available from May 2010, with fares starting from as little as £59.99 one way including taxes. Those in search of a complete holiday package will be able to book package tours at Jet2holidays.com from £269 for seven nights.
