Low-cost carrier Ryanair has decided to cut a number of UK routes and reduce the frequency of others to create space for European expansion.
Come autumn, the routes from London Stansted to Esjberg and Malmo will no longer operate.
Neither will services from Liverpool to Inverness, Aberdeen and Kaunas. Services between Dublin and Malmo and Vasteras will also be suspended.
In addition, a number of services from Stansted will only operate on a seasonal basis. These include flights to Poitiers and Genoa.
In place of these routes, the carrier plans to introduce 11 new European flights.
These include services from Stansted to Billund in Denmark.
Ryanair's head of communications, Peter Sherrard, commented: "These 11 new routes bring the Ryanair network to 499 routes across 26 countries and mark the reinstatement of low-fare flights between France and Morocco.
"In the coming year over 50 million passengers will enjoy Ryanair's lowest fares and no fuel surcharge guarantee, saving €5 billion."
