BA announces new routes from Gatwick

British Airways has announced two new routes that it will operate from Gatwick airport next year.

British Airways has announced that it will launch flights from London Gatwick to Poznan in Poland and Antalya in Turkey next summer.

The flag-carrying airline's Poznan service will commence on March 30th next year on a daily basis.

Three flights per week will be offered to popular holiday destination Antalya, launching on April 10th.

Introducing the new services, Robert Boyle, BA's commercial director, said: "The demand for business and leisure travel between the UK and Poland continues to grow and Poznan joins Warsaw and Krakow on our network. All three destinations will operate from Gatwick next summer when our Warsaw flights move from Heathrow.

"Antalya is in south-west Turkey and is an increasingly popular leisure destination with new tourism facilities being developed."

British Airways has already announced that daily flights from Gatwick to Genoa in Italy will launch on April 4th next year.
