EasyJet confirms 6 new routes

EasyJet has announced six new routes that will be added to its network next year.

Low-fares airline easyJet has announced another six new routes that it will launch next spring.

Three of the new services will be launched from the west country hub of Bristol, to Biarritz in France, Olbia on Sardinia and Split in Croatia.

A service from Edinburgh to Nice, flights from Glasgow to Faro and a new connection between London Luton and Pisa will complete the developments.

These introductions from easyJet bring to 18 the total number of new routes the carrier will commence from the UK over the coming six months.

Previously announced services include a link between Nottingham East Midlands and Barcelona and new flights from London Gatwick to Innsbruck in Austria.

David Osborne, the airline's UK general manager, said: "EasyJet will launch 18 new routes over the next few months from our bases across the UK and we will shortly announce further expansion, re-enforcing our position as the UK's largest airline."
