A high-end home from home
The Sheraton Heathrow airport hotel is a beautifully presented, quietly luxurious four-star Heathrow hotel - where the staff go beyond the call of duty to make you feel comfortable. What sets this hotel apart isn't that it's supremely sophisticated or effortlessly elegant - though it is both those things - it's the down-to-earth, individual service.
If there's something you want while you're staying there the staff will do their best and then some to get it for you. There's a reason why so many of the hotel's guests are repeat customers who just keep coming back again and again it's because they can hardly tell they're away from home.
The Sheraton at Heathrow is basking in a full-renovation, which was completed in 2017. Each and every room has been beautifully transformed giving the hotel a brand new feel. You will soon slip into holiday mode in the pristine Orchard Restaurant, the quirky Discovery Bar, and the warm, quiet Orange Lounge; with its dark wooden furnishings, contemporary fire and comfortable chairs. Behind the hotel there's a wildlife park where you can go walking or cycling in fine weather; indoors, there's a compact 24-hour gym.
Taste that's tailored to you
Even the restaurant menu has been designed to suit guests' tastes - rather than choose the dishes himself, head chef Lee Heaton asked customers what they'd like to eat when they came to stay and created his menu accordingly. You'll eat very well at the Sheraton - we tucked into the best fillet steak we've ever tasted, and left several pounds heavier than when we arrived. As for breakfast, it's fit for a whole party of kings - there's enough of a spread to keep you sated for about a week afterwards.
The Sheraton hotel has wifi throughout, which is free 24 hours a day in all public areas, and can be accessed for free on the open-access computers if you don't have your own laptop. There's also a charged printing service; ideal for that last-minute boarding pass panic! In the rooms, however, wifi is charged - £7.50 for one hour, and £15 for 24 hours.
There's something about the whole atmosphere at this hotel which is so relaxed that even though you're five minutes from Heathrow, you feel like you're a world away.
We recommend the Sheraton hotel at Heathrow airport for:
The food - - Resident chef, Lee Heaton, is a master hand at knowing what makes good food. This is the only Holiday Extras Heathrow airport hotel that serves Hereford beef, because Chef Heaton knows just how to do it the justice it deserves. The steaks here are exquisite! Plus, there's such a varied and delicious restaurant menu on offer that all that's left for you to do, is enjoy it.
The atmosphere - From the impressive exterior to the chic decor inside, the Sheraton at Heathrow exudes stylish modernity. The simple colour schemes, masculine design and ample soft furnishings ooze sophistication, while the quiet efficiency of the staff ensures a relaxed and calm environment for you to unwind in before your flight.
The rooms - We were very comfortable in our spacious, elegant standard double room, with its queen size bed, smart-TV, mini-fridge, armchair and coffee table. We could control the temperature, plus there was air conditioning if we got too hot, and a spare blanket in case we got cold at night. And the bathroom mirrors were heated, so didn't steam up after we had a shower - meaning we could still apply perfect makeup.

The Heathrow Hoppa shuttle bus runs regularly from the hotel to terminals 2, 3, and 5 during the airport’s opening hours (5am - 11:30pm). The Heathrow Hoppa bus stops at other hotels on the way, so we recommend allowing an extra 30 minutes to get to the terminal.
