Making a claim

It's everyone's worst nightmare: your luggage is lost on a connecting flight; you have to cancel your holiday last-minute because of an unfortunately-timed unforeseen circumstance; or you've had to go to the local hospital abroad to treat a suspiciously swollen ankle. No one wants any of these things to happen, but with the right travel insurance behind you these issues can seem like a thing of the past and we will do our best to provide you with compensation.

Checklist for all claims

    Make sure you have your personal information (name, D.O.B. & address) and your policy number

    Fill out a form online via TIF

    Check that you have the relevant supporting documents (police reports, receipts) ready to send away

Gadget claims procedure

To make a claim for gadget cover, contact our product underwriter, Taurus, at 0300 880 1753. If you need to make a claim on your policy for the gadget cover add-on, ensure you obtain;

  • The Police Crime Reference Number (if applicable);
  • Proof of Blacklist of IMEI (if applicable);
  • Proof of reported theft or loss (if applicable);
  • Proof of violent and forcible entry (if applicable);
  • Proof of travel dates and booking confirmation

For malicious damage, theft or loss of a mobile phone, make sure you notify the local police authority and obtain a Police Crime reference number and contact your network provider to blacklist the IMEI of the device.

Vehicle Hire Excess & Deposit Reimbursement
