Terminal 1 has two floors and has great shopping, eating and entertainment facilities along with a check-in desk and tight security.

Ground floor: On the ground floor there are check-in desks 1-80 along with the oversized luggage area, WH Smith, Spar, Gamegrid and Travelex.

First floor: On the first floor there is the rail link and the security desk leading to the departure lounge. There are also numerous shops and places to eat such as Burger King and JD Wetherspoon pub The Dragonfly.

Shopping

There are numerous shopping opportunities inside the terminal, with WH Smith and Spar on the lower level and Austin Reed, Julian Graves, Antler, Accessorize, La Senza, Boots, Bookbound and a gift centre all on the first floor.

Food and drink

There are many places to get a bite to eat in the terminal. On the first floor there's a Burger King, a JD Wetherspoons pub as well as a Frankie and Benny's along with various coffee shops such as Starbucks on the lower level.

Internet

There are Internet-enabled computers on both levels of the terminal.

Toilets

Toilets on the ground floor are located near check-in desks 1-28. Toilets on the first floor are near Frankie and Benny's.

Information desk

There is a special assistance desk next to the entrance.

Chapel

The terminal has a prayer room on the ground floor behind WH Smith.
