Flying with your family? You're all more than welcome at the Holiday Inn Express Stansted, where every room has a double sofa bed, a TV with internet access and a power shower. Breakfast is free and is available from 4am - and there's no need to rush, as the terminal is just seven minutes away on the transfer bus.
Looking for luxury? Look no further than the Radisson Blu Stansted, which is linked to the terminal by a covered walkway. It doesn't just have four restaurants, a spa, an aerobics studio, a pool and a gym, it's also home to the UK's only Wine Tower, which is made up of 4,000 bottles of wine. All rooms have air conditioning, a minibar and a flatscreen satellite TV.
Want great value? The Warmans Barn House is a 17th-century converted barn just five miles from the airport. You'll get an en-suite room with a hairdryer, a trouser press and a TV. Food is served in The Ash, the pub opposite.
Travelling on business? All rooms at the Hilton Stansted have high-speed internet access, and the hotel has a business centre which offers secretarial services, video conferencing, wireless internet access and fax and photocopying facilities. But it won't be all work and no play - the hotel has three restaurants, a jacuzzi, a pool, a sauna, a steam room and a gym.
Top tip: Book early. The earlier you book, the lower prices tend to be - and the choice of hotels is likely to be wider too. If later you find you need to cancel, that's fine - just add our cancellation waiver when you book. It costs just £2.49, and it allows you to cancel up to 24 hours before you travel and still get a full refund.
From modern magnificence to country cosiness

Stansted hotels: What are the options?
On-airport hotels: These are within the airport grounds, so your journey to the terminal in the morning should take no more than 10 minutes. We've three on-airport hotels at Stansted: the Radisson Blu Stansted, the Hilton Stansted and the Holiday Inn Express Stansted. The Radisson is linked to the terminal by a covered walkway, so you really can check out five minutes before you check in for your flight. The Holiday Inn Express and the Hilton are five and 10 minutes from the terminal respectively.
Off-airport hotels: These are outside the airport grounds, so are usually cheaper than on-airport hotels. But they're all within easy reach of the terminal - all our off-airport Stansted hotels are within nine miles of the airport. They all provide guests with transport to the terminal, though this is not always included in the price. Our most popular off-airport hotel at Stansted is the Warmans Barn House Stansted, which is five miles from the terminal. Rooms at this three-star hotel are only available through Holiday Extras - yes, that's right, you can't book them anywhere else.
Stansted hotels with parking: If you're driving to the airport, all our Stansted hotels will be happy to take care of your car while you're away. A room with parking is often only slightly more expensive than a room on its own - the difference can be as little as £20. At most of them, you'll leave your car in the hotel car park while you're away, and collect it when you return from holiday. The only exception is the Radisson Blu Stansted, where your car is collected from the hotel car park by a chauffeur, parked for you in a secured on-airport car park, and brought back to the hotel when you return.
All our Stansted hotels offer parking for up to 15 days, except the Cock Inn Stansted and our undercover hotel, which only offer up to eight days. You can park for longer, but the hotel will charge you for the extra days at its normal rate, which is more expensive.
Room-only bookings: If you're not driving to the airport, you'll want to make a room-only booking - one that doesn't include parking while you're away. You'll also probably want to know that we can save you money on your journey to the airport and back. We offer discounted rail and coach travel to and from Stansted airport for the whole family - including free train travel for up to two children under 16. Frequently asked questions
Can I book parking at Stansted for fewer than eight days?
Yes, but not at all our Stansted hotels. The Hilton Stansted, the Holiday Inn Express Stansted and the Radisson Blu Stansted all offer cheaper packages with up to four days' parking. At our other Stansted hotels eight days is the minimum package - of course you can park for less time, but you will be charged for eight days.
Can I book a Stansted hotel at short notice?
Yes, we'll almost certainly have something available, even if you're booking for that night. But we always advise booking as far in advance as you can - the earlier you book, the lower prices are likely to be, and the more likely you are to be able to get the hotel you want.
Can I park at the hotel while I'm on holiday but stay there when I come back, as opposed to when I leave, as I have a late flight back?
Yes, you can make this kind of booking at the Radisson Blu Stansted, the Hilton Stansted and the Holiday Inn Express Stansted. You can do it on our website, but if you have any problems, give us a call on 0800 093 5478.
Can I cancel my Stansted hotel booking?
Yes. You can cancel your booking and get a full refund if you've taken out our cancellation waiver, which costs just £2.49. We always recommend adding this when you book. If you don't take out the cancellation waiver, you'll be charged £15 for cancelling the booking, but we'll refund the rest of your money. However, if you cancel with less than 24 hours' notice we can't give you a refund even if you've taken out the cancellation waiver, because we'll have been charged by the hotel.
