  • Try white-water rafting in the Tara River Canyon, in Bosnia and Serbia. Very few people know it's the world's 2nd deepest canyon - after the Grand Canyon - and it's totally unspoilt and gorgeous, the waterfalls and wild life is unforgettable. The Tara is the only European river to be drinkable it's entire length. Melissa Djukic

  • My favourite destination is Sharks Bay, near Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt. It's far enough out of town to be relaxing, and close enough if you want a more lively night out. The coral and wildlife in the bay is great, and the sun always shines. Mark Martin, London.
