Air Europa launches winter schedule

Following the spring success of its London Gatwick to Madrid flight route, Spanish airline Air Europa has announced the launch of its winter schedule from October 2009.

With sales of the Gatwick to Madrid route exceeding the airline's expectations, Air Europa has added a number of additional flights to its schedule. Travellers will be able to fly from London to Salvador de Bahia in Brazil (via Madrid) from as little as £607 return, including taxes, or choose to discover vibrant Buenos Aires from £530 return, including taxes.

"Following the success of the new London Gatwick to Madrid route, Air Europa is fast becoming known as a South American specialist airline," said Colin Stewart, UK general manager.

"We are proud to offer our customers even more new routes and an expanded winter schedule. Air Europa's commitment to competitive pricing and exemplary customer service has significantly strengthened our position in the UK market."
