Thomas Cook Airlines has added more flights to it's most popular destinations this summer, from Newcastle airport.
Holidaymakers looking to travel to Alicante or Malaga will now have a greater choice of flight options, excellent news for those wishing to seek some summer sun.
The added flights from Newcastle airport mean that people in the region, hoping to book late summer getaways, can do so with ease. The airline is expecting to transport approximately 200,000 travellers to 31 holiday destinations this summer and therefore have increased their service to meet high demand. The airline now has two Boeing 757 aircraft based at the airport, which carries 235 passengers.
Frank Pullman, Managing Director of Thomas Cook Airlines, said: "With two aircraft based at the airport, it has enabled us to be more flexible so that we can add flights where we feel there is sufficient customer demand.
If you're flying from Newcastle this summer, remember to pre-book your airport parking with Newcastle Airport Parking for the best prices. Parking is located just over one mile from the airport and transfers take only five minutes to the terminal building.
