The Ramada features a restaurant, a bar, a Costa cafe, a mini gym and business facilities.
All rooms at the Ramada hotel Dover have an en suite bathroom, a hairdryer, an iron and ironing board, a TV with pay-per-view movies, free wifi, a desk, hot drinks, a safe and a shoe-shining kit.
Room service is available 24 hours a day.
The hotel's Olive Tree restaurant - named after the tree at the entrance - serves Mediterranean and Indian-inspired food, with local favourites thrown in. Confit of Alkham Valley rabbit leg with butternut squash and braised red cabbage sits alongside chargrilled tandoori chicken with creamed cashew nut and tomato sauce and tomato rice - and there's everything in between, from pasta and risotto to chicken supreme and steak and chips.
To start, we'd want to try the Kentish duck and orange sausage with quail eggs, followed by the intriguing stuffed peppers with lentils and French beans, with coconut and curry leaf-flavoured curry sauce and tomato rice, for main. For pudding, it'd have to be the mocha and dark chocolate cheesecake.
Dinner is served from 6pm to 9.30pm, and prices are reasonable: from £4.50 for a starter, £10.95 for a main and £4.25 for a dessert. There's also a children's menu - and two children under 12 eat free as long as they're with two adults.
Light streams through the ceiling and the full-length windows in the huge Octagon Bar, which serves bar snacks and a cocktail menu as well as wines, spirits and beers from around the world. Sit out on the terrace if the weather's fine, or relax inside on one of the comfy brown leather seats and watch Sky Sports on the widescreen TV. The bar is open from noon until 11pm, with snacks until 10.30pm - and the hotel also has a branch of Costa coffee, which is open from 6.30am to 11pm.
Continental breakfast is served from 6.30am until 10am - 10.30am at weekends - with English breakfast from 7am. Continental breakfast is £10.95 per person, and English breakfast is £12.95.
You can check in from 2pm. You must check out by 11am.
