New flights to Mallorca

Two more a week in May and June

Mallorca will be within easier reach of passengers flying from Glasgow airport this spring and summer.

easyJet announced today that it will be running extra flights to the capital Palma on Tuesdays and Thursdays from May 5 until June 23.

The sunny Spanish island is well known for its sandy beaches and tourist resorts, but the rest of the island, which remains relatively untouched, has some stunning scenery.

You can go hiking in the mountains, explore the ancient towns inland or admire the 14th century Sa Seu Gothic cathedral in the bustling capital.

easyJet commercial manager Carly Brear said: "Thanks to fantastic feedback from our customers, we are delighted to be offering even more flights to Palma de Mallorca.

"The additional services will make Mallorca even more accessible to visitors who are looking for a long weekend or a short break."

Return fares will start from just £51.78, including tax.

Seats go on sale today at www.easyjet.com.
