All the bedrooms at the Travelodge are clean, modern and equipped with all the basics. All rooms are of a similar size and layout and have a double bed or twin beds, a flatscreen TV, wifi access, adjustable heating, a desk and a bottle opener. Bathrooms have a shower over the bath and a large mirror. Some rooms face towards Gatwick airport’s runway so you might be able to plane-spot from your bedroom window too.

Double rooms

Doubles have a comfy double bed, bedside tables and lamps and storage and hanging space.

Family rooms

Family rooms have all the same facilities as the double rooms, plus a sofa bed, which is used to make two extra single beds. These are ideal for children but are also suitable for adults, so four adults travelling together could share one room here, which makes for an extremely affordable night’s stay. It does mean, however, that the floorspace is reduced. Guests must also make up the extra beds themselves.
