Virgin Atlantic's Twilight Check-in at Gatwick Airport allows passengers to check-in on the day before the flight between 12.00 and 9pm.

Procedures for the Virgin twilight check-in are straightforward, passengers are asked the standard security questions and are also requested to leave a contact number for the hotel [or home contact number for those who live locally] where they will staying overnight.

On the morning of the flight departure all passengers need is their passport, flight tickets, boarding cards and hand luggage. After moving through passport control arrive at the departure gate one hour prior to the flight.

The Twilight Check started in 2000, and now about 20% of Virgin Atlantic's passengers use the early check-in.
