Eat like an Edwardian
There is one restaurant at the Heathrow Radisson Edwardian hotel. The Trunk restaurant off the foyer is a stylish, 1920s-themed venue, where dining is a combination of American classics and seafood. But what really sets this venue apart, is the specially commissioned DJ who makes an appearance on Friday and Saturday nights, to really shake up your pre-holiday weekend!
The frankly beautiful Bijou Bar is where you can opt to enjoy some light snacks, like sandwiches and salads, throughout the day. Although this has an informal atmosphere, its still exquisitely decorated as is the entire hotel. Bijou offers traditional food, with locally-sourced, seasonal British ingredients. For dessert, there is a range of yummy looking cakes, cheesecakes, puddings and fresh fruit.

In the evening, the restaurant offers a la carte dining with some delicious dishes to choose from. How about London-cured smoked salmon with horseradish cream and salmon caviar or a warm goat's cheese tart to start? For main, choose from items like steak, duck, rack of lamb, veal cutlet or leek and apple sausage, pan fried sea bass, Scottish organic salmon or a tasty burger. There are lighter bite salads or vegetarian dishes. For dessert, why not try a warm poached pear in red wine or a hot chocolate and toffee sponge.
The Trunk is also your venue for breakfast in the morning, which starts at 6am. Help yourself to a fantastic range of cooked items to make up a full English breakfast, or choose from a delicious array of cakes, pastries, fresh fruit, yoghurts, cereals, breads and rolls, jams and spreads, as well as continental cold cuts including smoked salmon and trout, meats and cheeses.
