Locally-sourced ingredients and lots on offer
The large, open-plan Pavilion Restaurant seats 123, and you'll be looked after by staff who are helpful and efficient. Food is made from fresh, local ingredients, and you can even watch the chefs as they prepare your dish. Next to the restaurant is the Pavillion Terrace where, in the evening darkness, solar lights shimmer amongst the shrubbery, creating a soft, atmospheric spot to enjoy a glass of something chilled.

The dinner menu offers an extensive range of internationally-inspired cuisine and the chef's daily specials. Opt for light chicken satay skewers served with lemon-infused cucumber salad and peanut sauce to start, followed by a 12oz, 35-day matured rib eye steak that you'll be hard pushed to find as good anywhere else. Or, enjoy the tangy crunch of a goats cheese and sun-dried tomato bruschetta, followed by the pan-fried sea bass and lemon and saffron creamy mash in a mussel sauce. Meals are satisfyingly sized, and can be rounded off with a poached pear panna cotta, or even your own miniature tub of Häagen-Dazs ice cream. The vast selection of dishes at the Luton Hilton Garden Inn changes seasonally, and a children's menu is also available. Sit down to dinner in the light and airy Pavillion restaurant from 7pm to 9.30pm every evening.
Breakfast is an all-you-can-eat buffet for £9.95, including Hilton Garden Inn waffles, which you make yourself, fresh fruit, croissants, muffins, cereals, English breakfasts with eggs made how you want. Watch the chefs as they throw the ingredients of your choosing into an omelette while you wait. Breakfast is served from 6.30am to 10am through the week, and 7am to 11am at weekends.
Room service is available between 5pm and 10pm daily, with smaller portion sizes for children. Outside of these hours, the Pavillion Pantry - next to reception - stocks most of the things that you would expect from your local corner shop. Toothpaste, toothbrushes, shaving gel, feminine toiletries, deodorant, as well as locally produced microwave meals, sweet treats, cereals, and soft or alcoholic drinks, can be bought and paid for at reception. Heat up your healthy ready-meals in the communal microwave room on the second floor.
