A welcome greeting adds a personal touch
As you put down your bags in your room, youll be greeted by a personal welcome message on the screen of your 32 flat-screen Philips TV. Youll even get a phone call to your room from reception just to check that you are fully satisfied; its a lovely personal touch. Rooms at the Manchester Hilton are airy, light, spotlessly clean and spacious, with decor thats reminiscent of the lattes that are made so expertly downstairs; milky coffee tones on the walls and lavish folds of fabric at the double-glazed windows. The bed is very much the centerpiece of the room, with the oversized headboard and artwork making an impressive feature wall. Don the complimentary dressing gown and slippers and sink into the sumptuously soft bedding.
Enjoy in-room indulgences
If you can resist slipping straight into the pressed white sheets in your contemporary bedroom, give yourself a moment to get acquainted with your in-room facilities. The 16m² space contains a telephone, tea and coffee, an iron and ironing board, hairdryer, an oversized desk, a full-length mirror on the inside of the wardrobe door, and of course, an LCD TV with access to movies on demand. You can set the temperature to suit using the air cooling system. Security is key, which is why each each room has a coded safe for you to stash away your valuables.
Turn on the hot tap and turn up the heat. Your immaculate, white-tiled en-suite bathroom features a bath and power shower with free toiletries and big fluffy towels as standard.
There are 230 rooms and almost too many to choose between. Aside from the standard double, standard twins, and the 20 family rooms for either four or five people, there are standard double plus rooms, double deluxe rooms and two rooms with disabled access.
