Sophie Butler's article in the Telegraph [12th November 2007] warns readers about the pitfalls of parking with dodgy valet parking operators and says that valet parking has a tendency to leave you out of pocket. There has been quite a bit of publicity this year, warning holiday travellers against rogue traders who are selling airport parking on-line. The Trading Standards Institute (TSI) reported a sharp rise in complaints last summer rom holidaymakers who used alternative services in a bid to avoid the costs of airport parking.

It is distressing to discover that traveller's holiday fun has been jeopardised because of these unscrupulous traders.
