[September 2007] At this years Travel Trade Gazette Awards Holiday Extras were awarded the title of Best Holiday Add Ons.
The award ceremony was hosted by comedian Rob Brydon and took place at Old Billingsgate. The award was accepted by Matthew Pack, Web and Marketing Director for Holiday Extras®.
The Best Holiday Ad-On Provider award was part of the Extra! Extra! category and Holiday Extras beat off some strong contenders including BCP, Holiday Taxis, Journeys Travel Insurance and Taxi Transfers.
This award sought to identify those organisations which used technology in the most innovative way. Holiday Extras have been recognised for their exciting approach to e-commerce. Holiday Extras new product diversification strategy has led to an expansion in the business, and the employment of more staff.
Holiday Extras as an employer offers care and training, and motivates its sales team with bonuses and incentives. A profit share scheme helps make the company extra special. A packed programme of social events helps encourage our great team spirit. Congratulations to all at Holiday Extras for being an outstanding team. In 2007 Holiday Extras achieved 43rd position in THE SUNDAY TIMES BEST COMPANY TO WORK FOR 2007 list.
The company scored strongly in the areas of of 'my manager' and 'personal growth' - closely followed by 'my team' and 'my company'. Once again Holiday Extras' staff acknowledge the exceptionally high standards that make Holiday Extras one of the best employers in the UK.

Best Holiday Add-Ons
The Travel Weekly Golden Globe awards took place at London's Grosvenor Hotel. The awards were presented by Travel Weekly's Penny Akam and the host of BBC 2 comedy panel show Mock the Week - Dara O'Briain.
Thank you for voting for us as best add-ons for the 7th year running - and thank-you also for voting our website as best travel trade website. It gives our web team such a boost to achieve this award as a recognition of their hard work in developing the site - we'll keep on keeping it easy going!.

Winner of the Kent Building Design Awards London based architect Walker and Martin won the inaugural Kent Building Design Award in 2003/4 for the Holiday Extras building in Newingreen, Hythe.

The Entrepreneur of the Year awards are organised by Ernst and Young and endorsed by the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) - The awards celebrate and identify the very best of individuals on a regional, national and international basis.
