Too long to wait for bus back too the car , walked in the end it was quicker and still got there before the bus

We arrived late due to heavy traffic so was not happy when the bus driver pulled away as we were approaching the bus stop. On our return to the car park the driver was very grumpy and was throwing the bus around the roads, luckily we had a seat. Apart from that everything was great.

My partner is in a wheelchair, when the transfer coach arrived it was parked too close to the railing to allow the ramp to open. The bus quickly filled up. When we arrived at long stay 2 everyone on from of us had to get off, not much space to manoeuvre a chair with groups of people and cases. Suppose will have to pay extra and park within waking distance, one journey with the wheelchair, then return for the cases on arrival other way about on return. Things were perfect when blue badge users were allowed to park in short term car park at reduced rates. Would not recommend outer car parks for anyone with a disability.

Apparently, car park 5 was changed to car park 2 in June but no one told us. We spent frustrating minutes driving around looking for signs for car park 5 before asking a bus driver. It would have been courteous to email those that booked prior to June to let them know it had changed.

When we arrived back we put the token in the machine and it asked for £150.
We had to ring for assistance at 3:30 in the morning and if we had not got the email from you we would have had to pay the money, as you can imagine we where not very happy.

Everything was great thank you , but with the exception the bus driver who transferred us from departures back to the car park, he had a very rude arrogant attitude, almost everyone who got on asked to confirm they were on the right bus, but he was far from polite, He was dismissive and rude to lots of people.

Directions to Long Stay 2 were not as clear as they could be. Suggest someone who is not familiar with the airport is given them and tries to get to the car park. Then try a rewrite. However we did actually find it. We were arriving at 4am

We had a nightmare finding the actual carpark. There's only a teeny tiny sign on the barrier that says Long Stay 5.
Not one sign to Long Stay sign ANYWHERE on the airport. We were driving around for ages before stumbling on Long Stay 2 which is the same as Long Stay 5. Very confusing. We also got stuck in the Drop off line meaning we had to pay £2 to get out again!!
Not your fault the signage is rubbish but maybe sell the carpark as Long Stay 2 NOT Long Stay 5?

The car park was reasonably easy to find. I was let into the carpark through the barrier automatically, so no need to contact any staff. Found the bus stop easily and the bus turned up within five minutes. Staff on the buses were very friendly and helpful, both ways. Would definitely use agsin.

No issues with holiday extras. Long stay 2 that was 5 is a good way to the pick up point. The token given to exit the car park didnt work . No big issue just annoying after a long time travelling

We never saw any staff at the car park but found the bus stop easy. Coming home from East Midlands they had changed all the car park numbers so the one we booked wasn't called 5 anymore so it was a bit confusing but we sorted it in the end.

I was moved to long stay 3 a few days before which is nearer. On arriving at barrier it did took a while to recognise number plate before giving me a token. On our return the token did not work and I had to wait several minutes for an assistant to answer who eventually opened the barrier.

Everything went smoothly except for the number plate recognition which I suspect is more to do with the way we've configured the personalised plare than a fault with the park
but the problem was dealt with quickly and efficient entry resolved. There was a bus waiting on our return with a very helpful driver.

East Mids have renumbered all of their car parks, we were fine going out but coming back the bus was full and we wee sat at the back, the drop off for car park 2 (previously 5) was before car park 1?? no signage on the bus stop to say which drop off it was, the bus drive said he did shout up that it was the car park 1 stop but at the back of a full bus we had no chance of hearing (all the other drop offs had signs telling you where you were). We ended up doing a full tour of all the stop off to get back to the one we actually needed, which added about half an hour on our return journey.

What a disaster. Long stay car park 5 is now long stay car park 2. There are no signs to say this and nothing to suggest where long stay 5 is. It took over an hour to find the car park and only after we asked someone. We nearly missed the plane. We rang the number on your email for help but it didn't open till 8am. This was a total disaster

On arriving back at East Midlands tried to get the shuttle bus to long stay 5, but long stay 5 no longer exists, renamed as long stay 2 whilst away, disgruntled shuttle drivers more concerned with their own grievances than informing passengers about the renaming.

Didn't see any staff at all but entry and exit was smooth and without hassle. Car Park 5 was easy to find and the shuttle bus to and from departures and arrivals was extremely frequent taking just 4 - 5 minutes from car park to airport.

We were led to believe that transfers were included in the cost of the holiday. Our horror that we were not on any companies list at the airport was considerable. On the plus side the Hotel was exceptional but maybe the resort would not attract us there again

Very pleased with the car parking. The bus arrived only minutes after we got to the bus stop for the short journey to the arrivals hall. On return the bus soon arrived for the return to our car.
