Holiday Extras is an active member of the Kent community - playing a positive role through responsible corporate policies, which includes a yearly sponsorship program for the sports teams that are close to the hearts of the people at Holiday Extras.

The team at Holiday Extras often raise funds for worthwhile causes, with donations and sponsoring local charities and events.

Harvest for the Rainbow Centre

Harvest for the Rainbow Centre

As part of our Holiday Extras Community Project, we raised money and awareness for the Rainbow Centre, Folkestone.

The Rainbow Centre is a lifeline for the Shepway community, delivering a range of services such as food banks, soup kitchens and winter shelters - providing support and hope to individuals and families experiencing deprivation or hardship.

For two weeks, starting on 18th September 2017, we asked the team to donate food items for the Rainbow Centre and from 22nd September, a small group of lived on £1 a day for five days to raise money for the centre. We raised £325.

Dessert at Saltwood School

Holiday Extras sponsored the dessert course at the Friends of Saltwood School Ball in May 2017. The evening was a great success and everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Through the generosity of local businesses, the school generated an amazing £4959.50 from the event which will be used to help make the school’s playground safer.



Aid to Burkina at HOLIDAY EXTRAS

Aid to Burkina

Chris Chandler returns to a small village in the West African nation of Burkina Faso in 2017 - where the school rebuild, which was started in 2015, will be completed. Workmates at Holiday Extras donated pencil cases full of stationery and football shirts for the kids as well as buying a brick for five pounds. Holiday Extras also donated £1,000.





Holiday Extras Choir fundraiser

Porchlight Charity

The Holiday Extras Choir sang at Sainsburys Bybrook Barn for Christmas 2016, with lots of shoppers stopping to watch and to sing along. They raised a total of £366.64 for the local charity, Porchlight.







Spooky fundraiser at HOLIDAY EXTRAS

The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity

Halloween came early with events that included pumpkin bowling, mummy making and of course - dressing up! The spooky day raised a grand total of £200 for the The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity.

This handy hedge trimmer donated by Holiday Extras was just what the Dungeness RSPB nature reserve needed to help with conservation work.
