Holiday Extras is a responsible, active member of the community. We play a positive role through responsible corporate policies, including a yearly sponsorship programme for sports teams that are close to the hearts of our employees and a Cyclescheme that encourages our team to cycle to work.

Sponsorship and donations

The team at Holiday Extras is determined to raise funds for Kent's worthwhile causes. Sponsoring local people and events, regular fundraising activities and straight-out gifts, Holiday Extras pledges support to a variety of local charities and community organisations.

Holiday Extras sponsors KM Charity abseiling event

Freedom Runners

Mimi Anderson collects a cheque for £400 from Holiday Extras' Commercial Director, Sean Hagger. Funds will be put towards accommodation and permits along the route.

Mimi's fund-raising challenge will start on the 26th September 2014 alongside runner Samantha Gash. They will run 64 marathons, back to back in just 32 days along the Freedom Trail in South Africa. That's two marathons a day!.

Samantha Taylor is abseiling for the Stroke Association. Debbie Spratling is abseiling for Brownie and Rainbow groups in Sittingbourne. Grant Prosser and Rachel Hart are abseiling for 'includes us 2' - a charity that supports disabled children and their families.

Holiday Extras sponsors Ashford U15 Rugby kit

We are proud to sponsor Ashford U15's rugby team for next season in the Kent League.

The team recently won their division at the Lille U15 tournament in May, 2014, competing against other clubs from the south of England, France and the Netherlands.

In February 2014, Holiday Extras presented two cheques for £750 for the local homelessness charity, Porchlight and to Ashford based children’s brain tumour research charity, Abbie’s Army.

Folkestone Samaritans


Holiday Extras donated £1,000 to the Folkestone Samaritans this this January.

The team at Holiday Extras chose to support Samaritans by arranging a fund-raising fitness challenge during their latest Well-Being week.
