A hotel at the top of its game
Five minutes' walk from departures, the Gatwick Hilton is the perfect holiday launch pad. It has two restaurants, two bars and a coffee shop where you can indulge yourself - and a gym to work it off again. Best of all, triple glazing lets you sleep undisturbed by the planes when you stay at this Gatwick hotel.
Affordable luxury metres from the South terminal
One of our most popular hotels, the four-star Hilton at Gatwick airport is connected to the South terminal by a covered walkway. You're just an unhurried five-minute stroll from the check-in desks. Unless you pitch a tent on the runway, you simply cant sleep closer to the planes. And the Hilton's extremely convenient for the North terminal too - it's just two minutes away on the free monorail, which runs every three minutes, 24 hours a day. If you want to roll out of bed and straight into the airport, this is the hotel for you.
Easy to find, impossible to beat
If youre driving to the airport, the Hilton couldnt make it easier to park. For the ultimate in convenience try our Gatwick airport Meet and Greet service, which collects your car from outside the hotel and brings it to you when you fly back from your holiday. If youd prefer to park your own car, we have a secured car park at Gatwick South terminal, which is a very short bus ride away. If youre coming by public transport the Hilton is a five-minute walk from the station, under cover all the way.
The Gatwick Hilton has two excellent restaurants, two relaxing bars, a Costa coffee shop, a business centre and a gym. Whats more, each of the more than 800 rooms at the Hilton Gatwick has internet access, satellite TV and pay-per-view movies. The only problem youll have is finding the time for it all before you fly off on holiday.
The Hilton at Gatwick was fine. We regularly have an evening meal at the Garden restaurant, but the selection and quality of the food has deteriorated.Mr Pollentine, 15 Sep 2014

We recommend the London Gatwick Hilton for:
Convenience - If youre flying out of the South terminal, theres nowhere closer to the terminal or easier to get to. Youll especially appreciate the Hiltons location if youre flying in the small hours walk through the Hiltons on-site Costa coffee and along a covered walkway which leads to the South terminal.
Families - The Hilton's family rooms are large and luxurious - options include connecting rooms, bunk beds and cots. Children under 10 eat free from the Garden Restaurants special childrens menu or if you prefer to order room service, some family rooms have a dining table. Children's movies are available too, so you can keep the little ones entertained.
Eating and drinking - With two great restaurants, truly excellent cooking, two bars and a wine list running to more than 50 bottles, a night at the Hilton is a great way of treating yourself to an early start to your holiday.
Public transport - If youre coming or going by train, Gatwick airports train station is in the South terminal too. Its just a five-minute walk from the hotel through the airport, all under cover.
A great nights sleep - Even though youre right next to the terminal, triple-glazed rooms means it's unlikely you'll hear a whisper from the planes.
You can check in from 3pm; you must check out by noon. But if you want to check in earlier or check out later, you can arrange this with the hotel.
London Gatwick Airport,
Wake up in the South terminal in one of our most popular hotels. The 4-star Hilton is conveniently connected to the terminal, has indulgent food, luxurious bedrooms and is just a five-minute stroll to check-in.
You can't stay any closer to check-in than at the Hilton - that's why it's number one for convenience and luxury at the South terminal. You're just a five-minute stroll from check-in, but you wouldn't even know it. You'll feel the characteristic relaxed and luxurious ambience of a Hilton hotel as soon as you enter.
Check-in is from 15:00. You can arrive as early or as late as you like, put your feet up and know that in the morning you're simply a hop, skip and a jump from the terminal.
For the dedicated athletes, there's a LivingWell Express gym, where you can burn a few hours, and a few calories.
When you've worked up an appetite, there are two excellent restaurants to choose from as well as two bars that serve food - these alone make your stay at the Hilton worthwhile.
You'll be spoilt for choice at the Garden restaurant. The nightly buffet offers an array of over 100 dishes, from seafood starters to fresh salads, and carvery roasts to Asian curries available from 18:00 to 22:30 daily. Variety is the name of the game at the Garden restaurant. In fact, you could eat here every night for a whole month and never eat the same meal twice. Meals are also served a la carte if you'd rather stick to a fixed menu. If you're coming with children, the Garden restaurant definitely fits the bill - kids eat free!
But if you're looking for a fine dining experience, Amy's restaurant is the perfect setting. Open from 18:00 to 22:45, Amy's has an elegant menu of classic meat and fish dishes, rich desserts and a wine list to impress any drinks connoisseur.
Before you settle in for the night, make a stop at Amy's bar and unwind with a night cap. It's open until 02:00, so feel free to be as leisurely as you like.
And for the sports fanatics, catch up on all of the latest action on the big screen TV's at Charlie Fry's sports bar, with a beer in one hand and a bite to eat in the other - it's open until 23:00.
Get that all-important pre-holiday rest in your soft and cosy bed. Rooms are bright, spacious, immaculate, and of course, soundproofed. You'll even be treated to La Source toiletries. There's a plasma screen TV so you can unwind to a movie or blast your favourite beats using the mp3 player dock.
When you're all rested, pop down to the Garden restaurant for a huge buffet breakfast. You can take your time since you're already at the airport and enjoy the delicious English breakfast, cold meats, fresh fruit, cereal and much more. It's served from 05:30 to 10:30 and you'll even save £6 when you pre-book.
After you've checked out, grab a quick coffee at Costa before you leave the hotel. Then it's just a five-minute stroll under the covered walkway to the terminal. Hilton really do make everything simple.
Unfortunately, cots aren't available in rooms for 3 or 4 people and guests can't provide their own.
