A great deal of comfort
It might be incredibly good value, but the well-equipped, friendly Comfort hotel Heathrow certainly wasn't built on a budget. It has a gym, larger-than-average bedrooms, plenty of on-site parking and a conservatory-style lounge where you can grab a Costa coffee and sink into a sofa. Staying at this Heathrow airport hotel, you'll instantly feel like you're in your own front room - though in fact you'll be within 10 minutes of all four Heathrow terminals.
There's a really homely feel to this 30-year-old hotel, which is helped by the friendly, welcoming staff and the warm colours and soft furnishings in the public areas. Kids can treat it like a home-from-home too: they have their own play area with toys, a Playstation 3 and an Xbox, and a special menu at dinnertime with home-cooked favourites. Parents will love that too, because children 11 and under eat free if they're with an adult.
We recommend the Comfort Hotel for:
Families - The Comfort's great for kids - and for parents looking for a quieter life! It has a play area with Lego, books, toys, an Xbox and a Playstation 3, and some of the biggest family rooms at Heathrow - there are two rooms which sleep a family of five. There's a special kids' menu too, and children 11 and under eat free.
The budget-conscious - Compared to other hotels in this price bracket, the Comfort offers a lot of extras. It has a gym with cardio and resistance training machines, which is free to all guests. The hotel's restaurant also has a large menu, and all dishes are reasonably priced.
Couples - The hotel is quiet and relaxed, and you can tell people are looking forward to their holiday. With 184 rooms, it's relatively small and doesn't feel crowded.
You can check in from 2pm; you must check out by 11am.
