Getting to the Hilton Heathrow Terminal 5
The easiest part of your journey
The Hilton London Heathrow Terminal 5 is just 10 minutes from the airport, but still far enough off site to be quiet and free of backed-up traffic. Even better, it's just off junction 14 of the M25.
If youre arriving by car: Take the Horton Road exit from the junction 14 roundabout. Turn right past the Travelodge, then turn right, third exit, onto Poyle Road. Cross two mini-roundabouts, then you will see the Hilton hotel in front of you. If you're navigating by satnav, use the postcode: SL3 0PH.
If youre coming by public transport: From Heathrow Terminal 5, you can take the H57 or the H10 Heathrow Hoppa to the hotel, which runs every 15 minutes between 4am and 2am, and only has one other hotel on the route. The Hoppa is £4 for adults, if bought in advance, and children under 12 ride free. Taxis take only 10 minutes, but they will charge a flat fee of £30, because the hotel is outside of the M25 area.
Buses from the airport to the hotel are as follows: bus H10 runs from terminal 1 every half hour from 4.28am to 11.28pm, calling at terminal 3 three minutes later; bus H57 runs from terminal 4 every 22 minutes from 4.30am to 11.23pm, calling at terminal 5 eleven minutes later.
Getting to the airport from the Hilton T5: The Hoppa runs to all four terminals from the hotel. Bus H10 runs to terminals 1 and 3 every half hour from 4.15am to 11.15pm; bus H57 runs to terminals 4 and 5 every 22 minutes from 4.16am to 10.58pm. The journey takes about 10 to 15 minutes to terminal 5, 15 to 25 minutes to terminals 1 and 3 and 15 to 20 minutes to terminal 4. Tickets cost £4 single or £7 return if you buy them in advance, but £4.50 single and £8 return if you buy them from the driver. Two children under 15 can travel free with an adult.
