Whether you have little monsters to entertain or you just want to keep yourself occupied during your stay at the airport, you'll find exactly what you're after at the Holiday Inn M4, Jct. 4. This particular Heathrow hotel might not have the most exciting name - that's just to make it easy to find - but the M4 Jct. 4 is all about fun. There are two children's areas, one with toys and games for the under 6s and one with DVDs, Xbox Kinect, Wii and iPads for older children. There are two bars and two restaurants, and there's also a free-to-use 24-hour gym with both cardio-vascular equipment, including treadmills with a personal TV on each, and free weights.
After you've worked up an appetite, you'll want to take in the hotel's two restaurants. The Rotisserie Restaurant's sophisticated atmosphere makes it a pleasant place to sample their varied cuisine, which includes everything from fajitas to lamb dhansak. Otherwise, you can continue the exotic theme with a delicious Asian meal at the elegant Sampans restaurant. After dinner you can enjoy a Guinness at the new Callaghan's Irish pub or a coffee at the Lounge bar.
Everything is covered so you won't have to worry

On the morning of your flight, it's just a quick trip on the Heathrow Hoppa to the terminal; less than 15 minutes. If you've forgotten anything, the hotel has a gift shop with magazines and books, as well as an ATM in reception. After your holiday, if you have time to spare, you're still just a half-hour drive to Legoland, for an extra holiday treat before you go home.
We recommend the Holiday Inn M4 J4 for:
Fun for the kids -Game rooms with consoles and DVDs and just a quick drive from Legoland, the hotel is a great place for kids.
Fun for you -With a high-tech gym, fancy restaurants and two great bars, you'll find it easy to while away the time.
Fun for the family -The hotel's just 15 minutes from the terminals, so there won't be any tantrums, and your kids will be happy too!
You can check in from 2pm; you must check out by noon.
Park your car in the hotel's car park. You'll need to leave your keys with the hotel as your car may be moved while you are away, but it won't leave the hotel grounds.
The fun begins in the foyer, where you can check in from 14:00. They have free sweet treats in the lobby from late afternoon, so if you check in early be sure to pop back down for some goodies.
What's cooking? You're spoilt for choice when it comes to dinner...
Enjoy the Eastern delights of Sampans. They Serve a Pan-Asian menu with Chinese, Indonesian, Japanese, Malaysian, Sri Lankan, Thai and Vietnamese dishes on offer from 18:00 until at least 22:30, often later, every night.
For something more homegrown, the Rotisserie restaurant serves British and European classics. You'll find classic pasta dishes, burgers and a new street food selection among other tasty morsels. The average main course costs around £10-£15, so depending on what you order, it's very reasonable for a 4-star hotel. Dinner is served until 22:30.
If you'd rather stay in your comfy room, the hotel offers a 24-hour room service, so just order something up. There's also a Starbucks, so you can get your caffeine fix before you fly.
Kids aged 12 and under eat free, with a paying adult, anywhere in the hotel.
Something to wet your whistle?
For your perfect pint, visit Callaghan's Irish pub! They serve all your favourite tipples and some pretty good grub too. It's just like your local - there's sports on the big screens and a pool table.
Time to hit the hay?
Rooms are large, elegantly decorated and you can choose your own pillows. Soft and squidgy, firm and supportive or one of each - the choice is yours. You'll also find a flat screen TV, tea and coffee, soundproofed windows, temperature control, a desk, a hairdryer, an iron and ironing board and, of course, an en suite bathroom.
Got energy to burn?
If you're not sleepy, you can work off some energy in the hotel's gym. It's open 24 hours a day, has up-to-date equipment and a floor-work area.
How do you like your eggs in the morning?
Pancakes, pastries and freshly-prepared eggs, aren't all that make this breakfast special. The buffet has every hot and cold item you can imagine eating at breakfast time. From yogurts, cereals and fresh fruits to traditional English, freshly-cooked pancakes, eggs however you like them and more bread and cheese than you'll know what to do with. TIP: It costs £25 for two adults when you book with us, which is quite a saving, so be sure to add it to your basket on the next page. You'll be hard pressed to find a better breakfast for better value, anywhere.
Breakfast is served from 06:00 to 10:30 (06:30 to 11:00 at the weekend) in the Rotisserie.
Are your airport transfers taken care of?
They are now. You can catch the Heathrow Hoppa bus from the hotel to the airport and back - it runs regularly during the airport's opening hours. Tickets bought in advance cost £4.50 per person one way and £8 return.
To make life easier, we've automatically added Hoppa tickets to your basket - you'll see them on the next page. This adds an extra charge to your booking, however if you'd like to make other plans for your transfers, you can remove them by clicking the link underneath the text.
Hints, tips and extra bits:
Wifi is charged, but you can buy it in blocks of an hour, four hours and 24 hours so you only pay for what you use.
