A thoroughly modern Marriott

The Marriott is a thoroughly modern Heathrow airport hotel with thoroughly brilliant customer service to match. With big rooms, even bigger beds, a health club, a spa and bars and restaurants galore, it’s the perfect place to kick-start your holiday.

When you walk into the lobby, you walk into the hub of the hotel. Apart from the reception and concierge desk there are two bars, two restaurants, a coffee shop, comfortable, contemporary seating areas and even a shop.

Relax in the pool, the bar, the restaurant or the courtyards

Prepare to be greeted by a flurry of welcoming smiles from the hotel’s staff, who really cannot do enough for you. The lobby is a great place to chill out, have a drink, surf the web or just watch the world go by. If you arrive in the evening you’ll be be welcomed by one of the restaurant’s staff, who greet you with wine and a selection of free tasters from their menu.

The hotel has around 400 spacious rooms, although it has the feel of a much smaller hotel. There are none of those long corridors that don’t seem to lead anywhere, instead it feels warm and intimate.

They say it’s not easy being green, but this hotel manages superbly. It’s on a green mission. They’re installing charging points for electric cars, setting up a greenhouse on site so they can grow their own veg and are always looking at ways of reducing their landfill waste.

A good night's sleep -It might sound obvious, that’s what you’re booking an airport hotel for, right? The extremely comfortable beds, the quiet rooms and the crisp white linens make for the perfect night’s sleep. A good night’s sleep on the night before your holiday is probably one of the most important night’s sleep of the year.

Great food -The food is worth staying in the country for. Whether it’s hearty steak house grub or fine italian dining - you won’t be disappointed by the Marriott’s offerings.

Friendly service -You’ll be treated like royalty. The customer service is second to none, nothing is too much trouble and you won’t pass a member of staff without being greeted with a smile.

Arrival at the Marriott Windsor

The earliest check-in time is 3pm. If you're parking overnight at the hotel, it costs £9, this price is subject to change. The hotel now operates a number plate recognition system so please inform reception of your car registration details when you check-in.
Here are the directions to the hotel:
Leave the M4 at junction 5 and take the exit signposted Langley off the roundabout. At the next set of traffic lights turn left, then take the first left into the hotel.
If you're travelling to terminal 5, you can catch the Heathrow Hoppa H55 bus from the hotel to the airport and back - it runs every 30 minutes from 04:05 to 23:05. For terminals 2, 3 and 4, you'll need to catch the Hoppa to terminal 5 and then get on the Heathrow Express to the terminal you want, so leave plenty of time.

When bought in advance, tickets cost £4.50 per person one way and £8 return. They cost £5 for a single and £9 return if purchased from the driver on the day. Up to two children under 15 can travel free with a paying adult.

Getting to and from LHR airport

If you're travelling to terminal 5, you can catch the Heathrow Hoppa bus from the hotel to the airport and back - it runs every 30 minutes from 04:05 to 23:05 and takes around 20 minutes to get to the terminal, depending on traffic. For terminals 2, 3 and 4, you'll need to catch the Hoppa to terminal 5 and then get on a free train to the terminal you want, so leave plenty of time.

When bought in advance, tickets cost £4.50 per person one way and £8 return. They cost £5 for a single and £9 return if purchased from the driver on the day. Up to two children under 15 can travel free with a paying adult.
