A chic 1930s retreat

Antique finishes to modern facilities tastefully date this interior back to its aviation heyday as Speke airport. The heavy, rich walnut furniture harks back to the glamour of the 1930s and art deco furnishings render this hotel a slice of indulgent decadence.

Crisp white sheets are offset with a luxurious, faux satin throw, and the soft, sumptuous bed cradles your body as you sleep. Keep the temperature comfortable with the air conditioning and climate control, and help yourself to the tea and coffee and free bottled water. If you need to do some last-minute work, or just fancy browsing the web, pull your leather swivel chair up to the large work station, switch on your reading lamp and plug in to the wired internet connection; even working is a comfortable pastime here. There’s also a digital safe to store your laptop in when you leave the room.

All 164 rooms also have a minibar, a trouser press, a hairdryer, a radio, an iron and ironing board, a phone and 24-hour room service. The hotel also has a further six accessible rooms for guests with disabilities.

Extra space, extra facilities; enjoy extravagance

These impressive rooms would not be complete without equally impressive bathrooms too. Big, fluffy white towels, mock marble and an anti-mist mirror set the scene for a soak in the large bath and power shower. The shower head has three power control options so you can simply soak under it, or set it to pressure jet to blast away the day’s toils. Forgot some of your essentials? Don’t worry, you’re welcome to call down to reception for any extra toiletries, which will be brought to your room.

Pay an extra £25 for an executive suite and you can relax in a king-size bed as well as enjoy access to the executive lounge, which offers breakfast and a small bar. It’s ideal if you want to really splash out on an exclusive stay.

Very poor
The hotel was ok...we was booked as room only as they Didn have the correct information..the restaurant was unaware of our pre paid booking...
The transfer to the airport we were charged for at £9
On our return we managed to get through to the hotel after an hour ....to book our transfer back to which they sent us 1 taxi
We could only get 1 suitcase in
As it was a party of 10 ...we had to travel back to the hotel collect our cars 3 of them
To pick the rest up ..we came out of the airport at 5.45pm
And left the airport eventually at 7 30 pm
Very disappointed

Mr Coe (Liverpool Crowne Plaza)

Everything went swimmingly. We parked at the front door, Crowne Plaza was fine for our purposes. Could recommend Holiday Extras and hotel.

Mrs Weaving (Liverpool Crowne Plaza)

The bed was not a double, we barely fit in it, customer service was poor, taxi prices not as advertised

Mr Otenburger (Liverpool Crowne Plaza)

This is the second time we have stayed at the Crown Plaza and on each occasion the return to the Hotel by taxi has had unacceptable delays in pick up. We suggest the system adopted by the hotel needs reviewing.

Mr Rawcliffe (Liverpool Crowne Plaza)

Room and Park and Stay package very good. Staff very helpful and evening meal very nice. However, makeshift restaurant in place on night of our stay which was disappointing would have liked advanced notice of this. Very short of staff in all areas and small glass of awful white wine very expensive at £6.40 and staff didn't know difference between a Pinot and Sauvignon blanc. Man serving behind the bar was trying his very best but rushed off his feet.
