Dining

The Dettori's restaurant at the hotel offers great food at a fantastic price. Kids under 12 even eat free!
A starter might be soup of the day or a Bury black pudding. For your main, you could have a roast with beef, yorkshire puddings and plenty of veg, or a light vegetable rissoto. To finish, you can choose from sticky toffee pudding, apple pie or ice cream, all with custard, or a cheese platter with biscuits, celery and grapes.
Dettori's is open from 5.30pm to 9.30pm, from 5pm on Sundays. Outside of these hours, the informal Townfields bar offers drinks, snacks and even some meals, including sandwiches and steaks.
Breakfast includes Continental items such as fruit, pastries, cereal and yoghurt, as well as an English breakfast range of bacon, sausages, mushrooms, hash browns, baked beans, grilled tomatoes, fried poached, boiled or scrambled eggs, tea, coffee and toast.
