Security at Prestwick Car Park 7

Watson's Ayr Park is protected by 24-hour CCTV, entry and exit barriers, a high fence and floodlighting, and is patrolled 24 hours a day. There are intercoms at the barriers, which are manned 24 hours a day. The car park holds the Park Mark, a national security award accredited by the Association of Chief Police Officers.
If you are returning between November 1, 2011 and March 31, 2012:
Watson's Ayr Park will be closed. Customers who've booked it will be able to park in Long Stay car park 3 instead, which is about four minutes' walk from the terminal. Long Stay 3 is protected by 24-hour CCTV, a high fence, floodlighting and 24-hour patrols, and holds the Park Mark.

Prestwick Car Park 7 Transfers

The transfer bus runs 24 hours a day, every 20 minutes. Transfers take ten minutes and are included in the price.
If you are parking at Long Stay car park 3:
The car park is about three to four minutes' walk from the terminal.

Disabled facilities: The transfer buses for Watson's Ayr Park are wheelchair accessible.
If you are parking at Long Stay car park 3:
Long Stay car park 3 is well suited to disabled customers as there are no transfers.

Arrival and Departure Procedures

Arrival: Press the intercom button in the top left corner of the entry barrier. You'll be asked for your booking reference, then the barrier will lift to let you through. Then just park your car - you'll be told which lane to park in - and wait for the transfer bus to the terminal.
If you are returning between November 1, 2011 and March 31, 2012:
When you arrive at Long Stay car park 3, you should press the intercom button in the top left corner of the entry barrier. Don't press the ticket button. You'll be asked for your booking reference, then the barrier will lift to let you through.
Once you've parked, you can just walk to the terminal. We recommend that you give yourself 20 minutes to park and walk to the terminal.

Departure: The transfer bus will pick you up from the terminal, where you were dropped off. Just collect your car and head to the exit barrier. As before, you'll need to press the intercom button in the top left corner of the barrier and give your booking reference, then the barrier will lift.

Just press the intercom button in the top left corner of the entry barrier. You'll be asked for your booking reference, then the barrier will lift to let you through.
