(4 star hotel)
from the airport
Family favourite hotel
It might be incredibly good value, but the well-equipped, friendly Mercure hotel Heathrow certainly wasn't built on a budget. It has a gym, larger-than-average rooms, plenty of on-site parking and a kids' playarea. Staying at this Heathrow airport hotel, you'll instantly feel like you're in your own front room - though in fact you'll be within 10 minutes of all four Heathrow terminals.
There's a really homely feel to this 30-year-old hotel, which is helped by the friendly, welcoming staff and the warm colours and soft furnishings in the public areas. Kids can treat it like a home-from-home too: they have their own play area with toys, a Playstation 3 and an Xbox, and a special menu at dinnertime with home-cooked favourites. Parents will love that too, because children 11 and under eat free if they're with an adult.
Arrival at the Mercure
You can check in from 14:00.
Here are the directions to the hotel:
From the M4:
Leave the motorway at junction 4, which is signposted Heathrow. Follow the signs to Hayes across the main intersection into Shepiston Lane. After about a mile you will see the hotel on the right, just after the fire station.
From the M25:
Leave the motorway at junction 15 and follow signs for the M4 to London. Then follow the directions above.
You can take the Heathrow Hoppa bus to the terminal in the morning.
You must check out by noon.
You can catch the Heathrow Hoppa bus from the hotel to the airport and back - it runs regularly during the airport's opening hours.
T2 and T3:
From terminals 2 and 3, you’ll need to get the bus H8. The first bus from terminal 2 is at 04:27 and then every 30-45 minutes until 23:47. From terminal 3 the first bus is at 04:42 and then every 20-30 minutes until 23:47.
T4 and T5:
For terminal 5, you’ll need the H58 bus. The first one from terminal 5 is 04:42, then every 40 minutes until 23:22. The bus doesn’t run to terminal 4 from this hotel, so you will need to use the Heathrow Express from another terminal.
When bought in advance, tickets cost £4.50 per person one way and £8 return. They cost £5 for a single and £9 return if purchased from the driver on the day. Up to two children under 15 can travel free with a paying adult.

I was very impressed with the hotel. The rooms were lovely and clean as was the whole hotel. Very good price and the staff were very helpful and efficient. Easy pickup from outside the hotel to air terminal. Would definitely use again and would recommendMrs Weller (Heathrow Mercure)
