Stay at a quiet country club, just 15 minutes from Heathrow
Making your way through a busy airport is a stressful experience, and that's without even mentioning the flight itself. So why not book yourself a Heathrow airport hotel to help make the process stress-free. The Marriott Heathrow Windsor is the perfect place to escape, with a relaxed, country atmosphere and plenty of leisure activities to keep you occupied. The hotel is a world away from the Heathrow terminals, but still just a 15-minute transfer from the departure desk and easy to find from the motorway.
The rooms are more country club than airport hotel, with plush bedding - including down duvets and pillows, and egyptian cotton linen - but still offer modern features like climate control and wifi. Still, there's so much to do at the Marriott, you'll barely be in your room.
- "Room was superb - really large. Not what I was expecting at all. Staff were very friendly. A great start to our holiday."

Whether you'd prefer a swim in the heated, indoor pool, a tennis match on the court, a kick around on the 5-a-side football pitch or a free fitness class at the two-storey gym, you're sure to find something to keep your heart rate up. After, you can unwind in the sauna and steam room.
After burning off all those calories, you're going to want to replace a few of them at the hotel's great range of bars and restaurants. The Brasserie Centrale serves French cuisine with a British twist and is dedicated to sourcing the best ingredients. If onion soup and escargot aren't your thing, you could switch to elsewhere in the Mediterranean and take a table at Pizza da Marco, where Italian chefs will cook you a delicious, traditional pizza right in front of you. For drinks or less-extravagant dining, Chats cafe bar is open throughout the day and evening, and is the perfect place for a quiet coffee, a glass of wine or bottle of beer after dinner, or even for a casual meal. The cafe serves everything from club sandwiches up to a burger and fries, fish and chips or a pizza from Pizza da Marco. There's wifi access throughout the hotel, so you can camp out in Chats all day and you can even print off your boarding pass at the hotel's "i-Zone".
With the perfect mix of country leisure and modern facilities, the Marriott Windsor is just the place to escape the airport and the hassle.
Please note, the Heathrow Windsor Marriott now asks customers to provide a debit/credit card or a £50 deposit to cover extras in the rooms. If this cannot be provided, customers will need to pay for each items as they use it.
We recommend the Marriott for:
Peace and quiet - Far from the airport noise, the Windsor Marriott is like a quiet country club, but still just 15 minutes from Heathrow's terminals.
Things to do - From a gym and heated pool, to a tennis court and football pitch, you're sure to find something to do at the Marriott.
A great range of restaurants - From French fine dining to fish and chips, the Marriott has something for everyone.
Getting to and from Heathrow airport
If you're travelling to terminal 5, you can catch the Heathrow Hoppa bus from the hotel to the airport and back - it runs every 30 minutes from 04:21 to 23:51 and takes around 20 minutes to get to the terminal, depending on traffic. For terminals 2, 3 and 4, you'll need to catch the Hoppa to terminal 5 and then get on a free train to the terminal you want, so leave plenty of time.
When bought in advance, tickets cost £4.50 per person one way and £8 return. They cost £5 for a single and £9 return if purchased from the driver on the day. Up to two children under 15 can travel free with a paying adult.
On your way back to the hotel, the bus runs every 30 minutes from 4:36 to 23:36.

Staff were very professional and helpful and the room was fine. Our only problem was that we did not realise that the hotel bus only links to Terminal 5 and we had to make a difficult and time-consuming transfer to the train to get to Terminal 2.Mr Blackwell (Heathrow Marriott)
We arrived early well before our moving in time, so we were very surprised to be told that our room was ready. It gave us time to rest as we were up very early to avoid traffic, everyone at the hotel were very helpful and polite we also had a lovely evening meal, the bedroom was spacious, the bed very comfortable. We will definitely book this hotel again.Mr Lampe (Heathrow Marriott)
Everything went smoothly, everything was as described, and the staff were helpful. Just probably not the best choice for Terminal 2... fine on the way out, but on the way back just a bit too much hassle and time.Mr Fuller (Heathrow Marriott)
Everything was fine, greeted very well, checked into room efficiently, car was parked easily. Room was very clean, had the wake up call in the morning as a reminder.Mr Careless (Heathrow Marriott)
Would stay again if in the area.
Great Hotel, friendly staff and convenient for the Bus direct to terminal five. The reason we booked the hotel was that the car could be left at the hotel for the duration of our holiday, without the need for someone to park it elsewhereMr James (Heathrow Marriott)
