If you’re arriving by car: The hotel is about five minutes from the M23. Leave the motorway at junction 10 and take the A264 towards East Grinstead. Go straight on at the roundabout, then at the next roundabout turn left onto the B2028 – the hotel is on the right.

The hotel's transfer bus to Gatwick airport costs £4.25 per person and leaves every hour on the hour from 5am until 8pm. It calls at both terminals and the journey takes around 15 minutes - slightly longer than a taxi ride, because it calls at the Copthorne Effingham's sister hotel, the Copthorne Gatwick, on the way. The bus leaves from outside reception and you can buy tickets from reception or the driver. Tickets for children aged six to 12 are £2, and a ticket for a family of four is £9.
