The Ifield Court is a small, family-run country house hotel in the village of Ifield, near Crawley. The hotel is just ten minutes from Gatwick’s terminals by road, but set in leafy grounds that make it feel more pastoral getaway than airport hotel. It's a simple, restful and attractive place to spend the night before your holiday.

Rooms are simple but clean and homely, and many were refurbished in autumn 2011, with the rest to follow in 2012. All rooms have an en-suite bath or shower, a TV, a hairdryer and tea and coffee; many have pleasant views over the grounds. Free wifi access is also available in the hotel’s comfortable public spaces. There’s a restaurant serving modern British cuisine, a cosy bar, and a patio for warm days. Staff are friendly and helpful, and the owners are never far away.

The hotel offers great value parking packages and subsidised transfers to the airport, making it a great deal for drivers. The Ifield Court has a very traditional, British country feel and is a welcoming and characterful place to get a good night’s rest before heading to the airport.

Location - Although it's only 10 minutes from the airport, the Ifield Court is in the middle of the countryside and surrounded by beautiful grounds - it feels a world away from the busy terminal.

Personal service - It's a family-run hotel and the owners can be found somewhere on the premises most of the time if you need them for anything.
