Chauffeur-driven limousines – or chauffeur-driven parking, anyway

If you need parking while you’re on holiday, you’ve three options when you stay at the Heathrow Renaissance hotel. You can leave your car in the hotel car park, take it to the Long Stay car park at the airport, or book our Meet and Greet package, where your car is collected outside the terminal and parked for you.

The Renaissance car park has 700 spaces and is a safe place to leave your car - it’s protected by CCTV and patrolled 24 hours a day by security guards. All you have to do is park your car when you arrive at the hotel; you can then get the Heathrow Hoppa or a free London bus to any of the four terminals in the morning, and back again when you come back from holiday to pick up your car. London buses 111, 140 and 285 run from opposite the hotel to terminals 1 and 3 round the clock, about every 10 minutes during the day; from there you can get the free Heathrow Express to terminal 4 or 5. You might prefer the Hoppa, though, if you’ve lots of luggage, as it will pick you up outside the hotel entrance and has plenty of space for cases. Hoppa H2 runs to terminals 1 and 3 once at 4.23am, then every 15 minutes between 4.50am and 11.53pm; bus H54 runs to terminals 4 and 5 every 20 to 30 minutes between 4.50am and 11.36pm. Tickets cost £4 single or £7 return if you buy them in advance, but £4.50 single and £8 return if you buy them from the driver. Up to two children under 15 can travel free with an adult.

The journey should only take about five to 10 minutes; but the quickest option of all will be a taxi; it’ll take no more than five minutes and will cost about £10, so is also cheaper than the Hoppa if there are more than two of you.

Long stay car park

If you prefer, you can leave your car in the airport’s own Long Stay car park at terminals 1 and 3. Like the hotel’s own car park, it’s very safe: it holds the Park Mark security award and is manned 24 hours a day, regularly patrolled, and protected by CCTV and a fence. You’ll park at the hotel overnight, and drive your car to the car park in the morning; the car park’s free shuttle bus will take you to and from terminals 1 and 3. It’s a more time-consuming option, especially in the morning, but you do have a little bit of extra security.

Meet and Greet

The most convenient option – and not necessarily the most expensive one, either – is our Meet and Greet package, where your car is parked for you. You park at the hotel overnight and drive to the airport in the morning, where you’re met by a driver from parking company Stress-Free. He or she will take your car to Stress-Free’s secured car park for you while you make your way to check-in. When you return from holiday, just give Stress-Free a call and your car will be brought back to the terminal for you, so you can hop in and head straight home.

Arrival at the Renaissance

The earliest check-in time is 15:00. You'll need to show ID when you check in at the hotel.
Here are the directions to the hotel:
Leave the M4 at junction 4 and follow signs for Heathrow, then for terminal 4 / other areas along the airport access road. Take the second exit off the next roundabout, signposted Other Areas. At the next roundabout, the Nene Road roundabout, take the second exit, signposted Customs House and Renaissance Hotel.
By public transport:
You can catch the Heathrow Hoppa bus from the hotel to the airport and back - it runs regularly during the airport's opening hours. From Terminals 1, 2 and 3, the Hoppa service runs every 14 minutes from 04:27 to 23:37. From Terminal 4 the service runs every 30 minutes from 04:50 to 23:20 and from Terminal 5, it runs every 30 minutes from 05:01 to 23:31. You may need to catch a free train between terminals, depending on where you are travelling from, so leave plenty of time.
