Small, but perfectly-formed bedrooms

Although the Ibis is a budget hotel, its bedrooms, if a little characterless, are fitted out with modern, stylish furnishings and decorated in light, crisp colours. Plus all of them are air conditioned, double glazed and have a blackout blind, which make for a decent night's sleep.

The rooms may not look like much, but they've got everything you could possibly need during your short stay: a wall-mounted flatscreen TV, wifi, a clothes-hanging area, tea and coffee, a hair dryer, extra pillows, a desk and a chair. For £9.99, you can also take advantage of an in-room entertainment deal, which includes 24-hour wifi access and access to Ibis' movie and music vault.

There are seven different room configurations for you to choose from: twin or double rooms, both with a shower or a shower over a bath; double room can have a sofa bed and a shower. There are connecting family rooms, and a limited number of disabled bedrooms, which have a wet room. All newly-refurbished bedrooms have a shower cubicle and offer more space than those with a bath. You can request one of the new rooms when you make your booking, but it isn't guaranteed. All bathrooms are equipped with a bar of soap and a wall-mounted shower gel dispenser.

I used a credit from your company and added extra to it. Airparks is a long way from Luton airport and not well signposted. As I was staying at the Ibis on my return I had to get a taxi to return to the airport the next day to access the courtesy bus back to Airparks to collect my car.

Mrs Procter (Luton Ibis)

The Ibis Hotel was disappointing. First impressions, it looked shabby from the outside. There
were hundreds of discarded cigarette ends from the taxi drivers who park outside. Reception was the bar. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. We used The Ibis as it's a 10min walk to the terminal. We still used a taxi as it was hilly and more difficult for my wife to negotiate. The carpark worked well. Airparks had a shortage of drivers and it was chaotic on the bus back to the car park. It could do with resurfacing and have a bigger area to allow cars to park into the bays as the the turning gap is small. I have given the Ibis an 8 as it's in the airport. This is the only reason for using it. I have no issues with Holiday Extras.

Mr Harrington (Luton Ibis)

The only problem was that the shuttle bus driver didn't announce our hotel and we ended up at the Airport Terminal and a long walk back to The Ibis.

Mrs Hunt (Luton Ibis)

Easy to find. Car was secure. Buses were regular & easy to access. Worked out cheaper to include hotel stay. Couldn’t really fault service, except wishing it was cheaper!

Miss Dear (Luton Ibis)

When I got he return bus back to Airparks and the driver scanned my ticket I was told I'd over stayed for a day. I checked my booking confirmation and according to that I had booked until Saturday 6th but my ticket said Friday 5th.
