Travellers in search of a last-minute bargain will be delighted to learn that Ryanair, Europe's leading low cost airline, is offering same day bookings at www.ryanair.com.

Customers are now able to book up to six hours before the scheduled departure time on all flights. Those passengers purchasing same day tickets online must check-in online up to four hours before departure, and can also print their boarding card up to 40 minutes before their flight.

Daniel de Carvalho of Ryanair said: "Ryanair's same day booking service means that passengers who need to book a flight and travel on the same day no longer have to go to airport ticket desks hours in advance of their flight.

"Passengers can now purchase their same day seat up to six hours before and check-in up to four hours before their intended flight. This new passenger service is the latest to make travelling with Ryanair even easier and to help passengers avoid wasting time in airports before their flight."
