Leeds-based airline Jet2 has revealed that it is offering passengers the chance to fly to a number of European destinations for just 1p one way.
The low-cost carrier announced the offer yesterday (June 4th), and passengers have to book their flights before Thursday (June 7th 2007) to take advantage. The offer price does not include any taxes and charges, however.
These low-cost city breaks are available from a number of UK airports, including Leeds Bradford, Manchester, Belfast, Newcastle, Blackpool and Edinburgh.
Destinations available to choose from include Amsterdam, Dusseldorf, Krakow, Paris, Prague, Rome, Valencia and Venice.
According to the airline, the sale is its "biggest ever" and passengers can book on any flight which departs before the end of August, making them perfect for people considering a city break over the summer, or thinking about heading to a European festival.
Currently, Jet2 operates flights to 34 destinations in the UK and 12 European airports. The airline was established in 2002 and started operations in early 2003.
