Close your eyes in a really comfy room

The Acorn Lodge hotel at Gatwick has 22 warm and cosy en suite rooms, some with a bath and others with a shower. All the rooms are comfortable, with television, storage space and all you need to make hot drinks. There's free wifi throughout most of the hotel, but if you’re unable to get online from your room, just pop downstairs to the bar or restaurant to connect.

Cheap and reasonably cheerful. Very good dinner and not bad cooked breakfast. Very handy for the airport.

Mr Dixon (Gatwick Acorn Lodge)

Nice little hotel near Gatwick Airport. Good food and friendly staff. I noticed there were a lot of repeater guest there who knew the staff well.

Mr Mcardle (Gatwick Acorn Lodge)

Your site does not provide an opportunity to book holel accommodation and parking both before and after travel to I had to telephone. Staff were helpful

Mr Stewart (Gatwick Acorn Lodge)

Friendly staff as always but the room on our return stay was cramped and the odour from the en-suite someshat unpleasant.

Mr Pallister (Gatwick Acorn Lodge)

The only comment i can make is a lift would be extremly helpfull. My friend and i found it difficult to lug our case up stairs. Otherwise couldnt fault it.

Most of the rooms are doubles, pleasantly decorated in neutral colours, with a comfortable bed and an armchair, but there are also some twin, triple and family rooms, with the latter having bunk beds for the kids. For the less able, there are accessible ground-floor rooms with wider doors and adapted bath fittings. On the other hand, there's one double room in the hotel’s loft, with skylights and an extra-large bathroom, for couples who prefer a little privacy.
