"Service was good, pick up from the airport back to the hotel at 2.00am was quick, hotel room was ok, hotel is being refurbished but it did not deter from the service. Breakfast basic but good. Wood stay there again."

The hotel has recently expanded, adding another nine spacious, comfortable rooms and an outside patio with a barbecue for sitting out in the summertime. There’s a cosy bar and excellent restaurant serving cooked-to-order breakfasts and Mediterranean-influenced dinners, with Turkish dishes a particular speciality. The theme carries through the Acorn Lodge’s décor, with marble-tiled bathrooms, attractive paintings and samovars dotted around the lobby. There’s a 24-hour pick-up service from the airport – just call and a driver will come to collect you in a dedicated minibus. The terminals are just five minutes away.

All the little things, included in the price

All rooms have an en suite bath or shower room and television. Wifi access is free for all guests and available in the public areas and most rooms. There are twin, double and family rooms (with children’s bunk beds) available. Breakfast is included in the price and, best of all, you can combine your stay with secured parking at the nearby Cambridge Hotel. Acorn Lodge is a great place to get your holiday off to a relaxed start.
