A budget hotel with style
The Days is a contemporary and stylish hotel at Gatwick that still manages to offer character that you wouldn't often find in a budget hotel. As you'd expect from quality three-star accommodation, the Days has all the basic facilities like a restaurant and bar, but also all the things the modern traveller could need: free wifi and a flat screen TV with Freeview in each room.
Easy to find, easy to park
The Days Hotel is close to the airport's motorway junction, which makes it quick and easy to get to. When it comes to parking, there are two options to choose from: on-site, meaning you can leave your car with the hotel for the duration of your holiday, or if you'd prefer to leave your car at the airport for a swift exit when you return, you can pair your stay with parking at one of Gatwick's Long Stay car parks. If you decide on this option, you can leave your car in the hotel's car park overnight and drive it to one of the Long Stay car parks in the morning.
Hotel was excellent and in a brilliant location to walk to the airport defiantly a bonus, we pre booked an Eve meal to and this was lovelyMrs Thompson, 15 Jan 2015
The Hilton at Gatwick was fine. We regularly have an evening meal at the Garden restaurant, but the selection and quality of the food has deteriorated.Mr Pollentine, 15 Sep 2014

If you're travelling to Gatwick airport using public transport, you can get to its train station via regular services from London. When you get to the airport, the Days Hotel can pick you up and bring you to the hotel by shuttle bus, free of charge.
When it's time to leave for your flight, the Days offers a shuttle bus service to both the North and South terminals from 6am until midnight daily. Transfers take around 10 minutes and you can book spaces for £4 with the hotel reception.
Simple, stylish food
The Days' own restaurant and bar, the Watershed, offers simple bar meals, a table d'hote menu and a choice of a la carte dishes served throughout the evening.
We recommend the Days for:
Families -Triple and quad rooms at the Days hotel are big enough to accommodate the average sized family. And you'll be glad to hear that many offer multiple (proper) beds - so you needn't fight over who gets the z-bed.
Couples - The Days hotel's double rooms are comfortable and classy. The Watershed restaurant, with its exposed beams and quality cuisine, offers a cosy setting in which to enjoy the first meal of your holiday.
Parking - What could be more convenient than leaving your car at the hotel when you jet off? The Days allows guests to park their vehicle in the on-site car park for the duration of their holiday and offers an on-demand shuttle service to and from the North and South terminals.
Earliest check-in time is 2pm, unless otherwise arranged. Latest check-out time is 11am, unless otherwise arranged.
A comfy and affordable hotel, with a cosy restaurant that serves fantastic food, just 10 to 15 minutes from check-in.
Check-in is from 14:00, so you'll have plenty of time to get settled in your room and ready to enjoy a relaxing dinner.
Prepare for plenty of money-saving deals and delicious dishes at the Watershed restaurant - it's definitely a hidden gem. It's set in a cosy 17th-century building with original oak beams and an inglenook fireplace. There's a Watershed restaurant menu of quintessentially British dishes, or for something a little more adventurous, there's an Indian menu too. We'd recommend trying one of the tantalising, authentic Indian courses. Either way, you're in for a treat. Each meal is painstakingly prepared to perfection and served by friendly staff. But if you're looking for a lighter option, the Watershed Bar offers a menu of snacks and traditional pub grub to whet your appetite, as well as a fully-stocked bar. There's a big screen TV so you can keep track of all the latest sports news. Dinner is served daily from 18:00 to 21:45 in the restaurant, and the bar is open from 15:00 to 00:00 Monday to Saturday and 15:00 to 23:30 on Sundays.
When you're all fed and ready for bed, you'll have a comfortable and cosy room waiting for you. All of the rooms have a bathroom, a TV, telephone, radio, hairdryer and tea and coffee.
You'll even get free wifi access throughout the hotel so you can stay connected wherever you are.
In the morning, head back down to the Watershed restaurant for breakfast. Choose between a delicious English or Continental breakfast. Both are served from 07:00 to 09:00. You can save even more money when you pre-book breakfast.
Then it's just a quick transfer to the airport. When you check in to the hotel, make sure you arrange with the reception what time you need to transfer. It takes around 10 minutes to get to the North terminal and around 15 minutes to the South terminal. Transfers run between 06:00 and 23:40 daily and cost £3 one way or £5 return.
If you're going to be parking a large vehicle at the hotel during your stay - a transit van or bigger - the hotel may ask for an additional £25 to cover the extra space. Call us on 0800 093 5478 and one of our team will call the hotel to make the arrangements for you.
