A budget hotel with style
The Days is a contemporary and stylish hotel at Gatwick that still manages to offer character that you wouldn't often find in a budget hotel. As you'd expect from quality three-star accommodation, the Days has all the basic facilities like a restaurant and bar, but also all the things the modern traveller could need: free wifi and a flat screen TV with Freeview in each room.
Easy to find, easy to park
The Days Hotel is close to the airport's motorway junction, which makes it quick and easy to get to. When it comes to parking, there are two options to choose from: on-site, meaning you can leave your car with the hotel for the duration of your holiday, or if you'd prefer to leave your car at the airport for a swift exit when you return, you can pair your stay with parking at one of Gatwick's Long Stay car parks. If you decide on this option, you can leave your car in the hotel's car park overnight and drive it to one of the Long Stay car parks in the morning.
The only reason we stay at the Gatwick Hilton Hotel is for convenience to be right there at the airport. The Hotel is nothing special. Restaurants are dreadful and bar prices are high. Every time we stay there they forget to give us a wake up call.....not that we really need one as we use our mobile phone alarms but it has become a point of principle now!Mrs Vied (Gatwick Hilton)
Hotel was excellent and in a brilliant location to walk to the airport defiantly a bonus, we pre booked an Eve meal to and this was lovelyMrs Thompson (Gatwick Hilton)
When I made the booking, the man I spoke to was most helpful. We had a short talk about where I was going and when I told him it was for a 50th Wedding he must have put it on the form. We had an upgrade at the Hilton at the start and end of our holiday and admission t0o the executive lounge. Thank you who ever it was.Mr Seaton (Gatwick Hilton)
The Hilton at Gatwick was fine. We regularly have an evening meal at the Garden restaurant, but the selection and quality of the food has deteriorated.Mr Pollentine (Gatwick Hilton)
We booked bus returns and the hotel the night before we were flying and everything went smoothly so would use this service againMr Booth (Gatwick Hilton)

If you're travelling to Gatwick airport using public transport, you can get to its train station via regular services from London. When you get to the airport, the Days Hotel can pick you up and bring you to the hotel by shuttle bus, free of charge.
When it's time to leave for your flight, the Days offers a shuttle bus service to both the North and South terminals from 6am until midnight daily. Transfers take around 10 minutes and you can book spaces for £4 with the hotel reception.
Simple, stylish food
The Days' own restaurant and bar, the Watershed, offers simple bar meals, a table d'hote menu and a choice of a la carte dishes served throughout the evening.
We recommend the Days for:
Families -Triple and quad rooms at the Days hotel are big enough to accommodate the average sized family. And you'll be glad to hear that many offer multiple (proper) beds - so you needn't fight over who gets the z-bed.
Couples - The Days hotel's double rooms are comfortable and classy. The Watershed restaurant, with its exposed beams and quality cuisine, offers a cosy setting in which to enjoy the first meal of your holiday.
Parking - What could be more convenient than leaving your car at the hotel when you jet off? The Days allows guests to park their vehicle in the on-site car park for the duration of their holiday and offers an on-demand shuttle service to and from the North and South terminals.
Arrival at the Days
You can check in from 2pm. If you're going to be parking a large vehicle at the hotel during your stay - a transit van or bigger - the hotel may ask for an additional £25 to cover the extra space. Call us on 0800 093 5478 and one of our team will call the hotel to make the arrangements for you.
Here are your directions to the hotel:
Leave the M23 at junction 9 and follow signs for Gatwick airport.
At the first roundabout, go straight on. At the second roundabout, take the fourth exit onto the A23.
At the third roundabout, turn right onto the A23 towards Redhill. At the fourth roundabout, take the second exit onto the A23 towards Redhill. You will see the hotel on your right after about 250 yards.
By public transport:
You can get a train or a coach to the airport, then the hotel will send its shuttle bus to pick you up if you give them a call on 01293 786971. The bus runs between 6am and 11.45pm and tickets are £3 one way and £5 return. Just go to stop 8 at the North terminal, or stop 9 at the South terminal. Alternatively, a taxi is about £6 or £7 one way.
Getting to and from LGW airport
The hotel runs its own bus to the airport and back every 30 minutes while the airport is open. The bus takes just 15 minutes to get the terminal and it costs £3 each way or £5 for a return ticket.
The bus runs between 06:00 and 23:40. Outside of these times, or if you prefer, a taxi to the airport will cost about £7.
When you get back, you can catch the bus back to the hotel from where it dropped you off. It will cost either another £3 or you can use your return ticket, if you bought one.
Returning to the Days
You must check out by 11am. Just catch the shuttle bus back to the airport. The bus runs to both terminals every half hour - more often if a customer needs to be picked up from the airport - and the journey takes about 10 minutes.
