Wake well rested with comfy rooms
All of the hotel's standard rooms are spacious and are decorated in crisp, modern colours. In each room, you'll find a 32-inch flatscreen TV with satellite channels and on-demand movies, as well as decaffeinated tea, coffee and a kettle. Family rooms sleep up to four and feature a rollaway bed that comfortably sleeps two small children.
We had no problems and found all staff very friendly from check in to catering staff. Coupled with the 14 days parking package, an excellent place to stop before or after a long flight.Mr Hemmington, 24 Mar, 2015 (5 out of 5)
Overnight accommodation up to standard. Transfer to/from Gatwick very quick and efficient and staff very helpful.car ready for collection on return. Good value! Second time we have used the Cambridge Hotel and would do so again.Mr Pedley, 24 Mar, 2015 (5 out of 5)
We have used the Holiday Inn at Gatwick quite a few times and always found it to be excellent. Staff in reception and restaurent very friendly and room very comfortable. With up to 15 days car pasking on site, very good value for money.Mr Chapman, 08 Feb, 2015 (5 out of 5)
Very good rooms--careful parking arrangement--very helpful on our return when it was very cold and we had been ill. Having car at front on arrival day would improve this arrangement--bus stop a long way from entrance to terminal!!!!!Mr Richardson, 07 Jan, 2015 (5 out of 5)
No problem with holiday extras at all very happy with your service however the hotel gave me a twin room instead of a double as booked with yourself . To tired to complain after carrying 4 suitcases up to room at 12.15 amMr Oconnor, 18 Dec, 2014 (5 out of 5)
All bedrooms are soundproofed and have double-glazed windows with blackout blinds to ensure you wont be disturbed. Climate control allows you to set the room's temperature to your preference for a great nights sleep. Plus the choice of pillows soft or firm mean that the only reason for a sleepless night will be the feeling of pre-holiday excitement.
Unlike a lot of newly-built hotels, all bathrooms at the Holiday Inn have a full-size bath and a shower, as well as hand-soap, shower gel and shampoo. Larger Executive rooms come with nice touches such as luxury branded toiletries, large towels, bathrobes and slippers. Mineral water, an iron and ironing board and a safe are also included in the upgrade.
The hotel has four disabled rooms, which have accessible washrooms and low-level toilets and basins. Induction loops and vibrating pillows are available from reception. The restaurant can provide menus in larger print if you need them.
High-speed wifi reaches all rooms and you can stay connected for 24 hours for £16, or four hours costs £10. There's also a direct-dial telephone with voicemail.
