The post code given for Purple Parking took us to a totally different place - an Iceland car park. The kiosk attendant when we finally arrived knew of this confusion. Shame we weren't told in our paperwork on getting to the parking.

Outbound journey was excellent, with the coach leaving for Terminal 5 within a couple of minutes of our boarding it. The return leg, however, was disappointing. Although I called as soon as I left the aircraft (as instructed) I still waited for over ten minutes at Stop 24 before the bus actually arrived. We then waited on the bus for a further ten minutes, apparently waiting for one other passenger, although the driver never gave an indication of how long we might be waiting. As a result, we did not actually drive away from the parking lot until one full hour after the plane had landed.

The process in returning after travel was not wholly satisfactory. No time estimate was given for the arrival of the pick-up vehicle and the passing by of other, empty Purple Parking vehicles caused concerns. It would seem sensible to provide some sort of indication of the likely pick-up time to avoid frustration and dissatisfaction.

Your staff were extremely helpful, both when parking my car and spending the night at the adjacent Premier Inn and also when collecting my car on my return from holiday. I collected my car on 16th July, my son left his car at the same car park the evening previous. We would never use any other LHR car park.

Everything went smoothly. There was a short wait after the car was dropped off and the bus was waiting for us upon return. The only small frustration was trying to reach the call centre on landing. Sending a text to notify of a return would be more efficient.

Super easy checkin, no wait for bus going to airport. Had a 20min wait to get bus on way back but they do say to ring asap when you land whereas i rang once i had collected my bags.

Quick and efficient transfers to and from the airport, and the driver even stopped beside my car on the return leg. Only minor niggle was the time taken to respond to my call when returning; it took nearly four minutes on hold before the agent responded. Not so good when the instructions told me to call immediately I got off the plane, and the journey itself only takes ten minutes.

Car was well looked after - only concern I had was that the driver that collected us on our return - took the parking ticket but did not return the car key at the same time - he held onto the keys until we arrived back at Purple Parking - he could have given our keys to any person travelling on the bus. There were people at the front who helped them seven to their own car keys - better control is required of customers keys

Most things were ok, although it's not as seemless as other companies I have used in the past. When I arrived I was told to proceed to the barrier and wait for the camera and drive through. The camera/barrier wasn't working so after a couple of minutes pressing the button I had to get out of my car and ask someone to come and assist with letting me (and the cars behind me) go through. Getting to the airport was fine. Coming back the service was terrible though. We landed at 00:57 (which was a couple of hours delayed due to weather), so once we had landed and got to the baggage hall I phoned the number on my ticket (at 01:14). They said the bus would be there in a short while. I got my bags and proceeded to the bus stop, to find another man had called a bit before me and still, nothing had turned up. After being fed up standing waiting for so long, I phoned again (at 01:53) and asked what the hold up was. They told me they had few staff and they were trying to cover all terminals. I appreciate they were busy, but this is not great service, especially after phoning to give warning that I had landed! I asked for an ETA of how long it would take and was told it would be at least another ten minutes. The bus eventually turned up at 02:02 (48 minutes after calling!). As annoyed as myself and the other passengers were, we were glad to be on our way. As the bus pulled out of the stop and pulled away, another man ran over to the bus and said he thought that was his bus, but rather than tell him he would have to wait for the next bus, the driver said he would come back around and pick him up! This meant we had to go round again (which isn't just round a roundabout, and took a few minutes) to stop and pick him up. Overall, I felt the service was really poor and will be looking for alternative parking on my next trip.

On arrival at Heathrow T2 it took 2 hours from my first phone call to get to Purple Parking to retrieve my car. The PP bus took over 90 mins to arrive at the bus stop despite 3 phone calls from me. I won't be using PP again.
