Oh my Days - you get a choice

The Days Hotel is no longer for sale. Please see our Luton Airport hotels for other great offers.

If you need somewhere to leave your car while you’re on holiday, there are two options when you stay at the Days Hotel. You can either take it to Airparks, a secured car park four-and-a-half miles from the airport, or leave it in the multi-storey car park next to the hotel.

If you’re parking at Airparks, you'll park in the multi-storey overnight and take your car to Airparks in the morning. Airparks will take you to the airport and pick you up when you come back so you can collect your car - the free shuttle bus to and from the terminal runs every 20 minutes and takes just nine minutes. And you don’t even need to find your own space - your car is parked for you, so you just need to drop it off in one of the arrivals bays and check yourself in at one of the machines.

Airparks is protected by CCTV, entry and exit barriers, a fence and floodlighting and is patrolled 24 hours a day. It holds the Park Mark, a security award for car parks accredited by the police.

Alternatively, there’s the multi-storey car park attached to the hotel, which is a public car park, but the hotel uses the top floor (level 5a), where only its guests can park. It has CCTV and is locked at night, but is open to guests 24 hours a day.

Drive into the car park, take a ticket at the barrier and drive up to the top two floors. When you've parked your car, take the lift back down to the bottom floor and make your way next door to the hotel. During our stay the lift was broken, so if you have heavy bags you might want to drop them at the hotel first.

The hotel will pay for a taxi to take you to and from the airport - you’ll need to give your car park ticket to reception, who will give you two vouchers in exchange, one for each journey.

If you’re parking at Airparks, overnight parking in the multi-storey will cost £4.50, which is a reduced price for the hotel's guests.

Getting to and from Luton airport

The best value under the sun

The Days' parking: Park your car in the Days' car park overnight.

The dish of the Days: If pub grub and a vibrant atmosphere are in order, then you'll be in the right place. The hotel's restaurant serves family favourites at very reasonable prices.

Good Days, great nights sleep: The bedrooms are clean and functional, with beds which are bigger than a standard double and really comfy, with crisp white linen and large sink-into pillows. The soundproofed windows and blackout blinds make it very easy to get what you need from this room - a restful sleep.

The most important meal of the Days: Fill up on the Days' buffet breakfast before you fly. It's super-tasty, there's tons of it and you can go up as many times as you like.

Ready for the Days ahead: Woohoo, it's the day of your holiday. Take your car to Airparks on the morning of your flight, they'll park your car and transfer you to the airport.

The Days here, time to come home: Jump on Airparks' transfer bus back to the car park. Your car will be ready and waiting for you.
