How much does it cost to park at Gatwick?

Gatwick Parking prices fluctuate throughout the year, and are dependent on the type of parking you’re after, but our current deals start from £7.42 per day or £59.32 per week. We recommend booking in advance to get the best possible parking prices.

How much is Short Stay parking at Gatwick?

Please note: prices are correct at the time of writing, and unfortunately, you can’t book these car parks in advance with Holiday Extras. You will need to use the ticket machine at the car park to purchase your parking instead.

Gatwick Short Stay Parking is available at Short Stay North and Short Stay South.

How much is Gatwick Long Stay Parking?

Long Stay parking is free for the first two hours, and then £25.00 per day for the first day, and £20.00 for the following days. The Gatwick Long Stay car parks are served by a 5 minute bus transfer every 10-15 minutes, 24/7.

At present, Holiday Extras doesn’t sell Long Stay Parking, but we do have the APH Park and Ride instead which only has a 10 minute transfer time.

Is there free parking at Gatwick airport?

You can park for free at the Gatwick Long Stay car park for 2 hours - making it a great choice if you're on pick up duty. There are also designated drop-off areas outside the North and South terminals where you can park for free.

Do you have to pay to drop off at Gatwick?

Dropping off at Gatwick Airport is free, and there are specified drop off zones at both the North and South Terminals. The North Terminal drop off zone is situated on the lower level forecourt between the Sofitel and the multi-storey car park. The South Terminal drop off zone is also located on the lower level.

We recommend going to the Short Stay car park if you prefer to have a longer goodbye with your passenger(s) as the drop off zone can get very busy. Alternatively, you can park for free for up to 2 hours at the Long Stay car park but you will need to get a transfer bus to get to the terminal.

Is disabled parking free at Gatwick?

Disabled parking is not free at Gatwick Airport. Blue Badge parking is charged at the standard rate. Disabled parking is available at the following car parks: Gatwick Long Stay, Gatwick Short Stay, APH Park and Ride, and Purple Parking Park and Ride. Meet and Greet operators, such as ACE Meet and Greet and Maple Parking, are also suitable.

Is there a pick up point at Gatwick South terminal?

The Express Pick Up area, located in the Short Stay South car park, is ideal for speedy pick-ups. Prices start from £4.00 for up to 30 minutes. Pick up parking is also available at the Long Stay South car park; parking is FREE for the first 2 hours and transfers take 5 minutes.

What is Valet Parking / Meet and Greet Parking at Gatwick?

Valet Parking also known as Meet and Greet Parking is one of the most easy Gatwick Airport Parking options: simply drive to your terminal, meet your fully insured driver, and they will park your car for you whilst you head off to check-in. When you return from your trip, call your Meet and Greet provider who will have you car waiting for you at the terminal. We have 8 Gatwick Meet and Greet Parking packages for you to choose from.

How do I get from Gatwick South to Gatwick North?

To travel between the two Gatwick Terminals, hop aboard the Gatwick shuttle train. It is located near the train station at the South Terminal.

How often does the Gatwick shuttle run?

The shuttle runs 24 hour a day, 7 days a week and takes only 2 minutes to get from terminal to terminal.

Can you cancel Gatwick Parking?

Yes. If you wish to cancel your Gatwick Parking (we hope you don’t!) you can cancel any time up until one minute to midnight the day before your booking was meant to start. If you cancel within time, we will refund you what you've paid minus our cancellation fee - which is normally £10.50, unless you've added a cancellation waiver.
