I'm Miche Clarke Cowell, the Associate Director of Strategic Development & CSR. I started working at Holiday Extras as a team leader in the Call Centre 20 years ago. I had always liked the idea of working at Holiday Extras and when the opportunity came up I went for it. I quickly moved into the Commercial team working towards a career in Contract Management. It's been an amazing experience full of new exciting opportunities along the way, working with awesome people.



I met my husband Ant at HX, so it's been a significant part of our lives over the years, being able to develop my career whilst raising my children has been hugely important to me.

When i'm not working I really enjoy spending time with my favourite people, we have two children Jake and Izzy, two dogs and two cats. The dogs ensure we get out every day which is a great way to unwind and my idea of keeping fit.

Who doesn't love a snow day?!



We like to laugh and have fun, we like a good day out and love holidays, a chance to get away and spend some really good time together. The South of France has been a Clarke Cowell summer staple over the years staying in various villages, a house and a pool, quiet but lots of places nearby to explore. There have been a few other destinations over the years the most memorable is the USA, beautiful house in Rhode Island, trips to Boston and New York, it was amazing. The customer experience was truly exceptional.

I love food, films and reading. Design and making things look and feel beautiful is my obsession, we have developed many houses over the years which has helped feed this passion, although I have promised we will stay put for a while. So i'm trying to extend the design skills into the garden, we will see how this goes..

We love our annual trip to Centre Parcs, i'm no adrenaline junkie, but I try to do stuff that scares me..



As our Short breaks business has grown I have had the opportunity to work with many of our teams, this has enabled me to really understand how the whole business works together and has really helped me develop my leadership skills. I am very passionate about being a good leader, I love getting to know people, helping them develop and watching them grow. It's a privilege to lead and I strive to be an inspirational, empowering leader.
