The hotel was quiet and comfortable. Checking in and checking out in the morning was easy and straight forward. The staff were helpful. The breakfast was OK but the cutlery was not replenished very quickly - it did not appear to be checked to see if everything was available. I had to hunt around for things.

Very convenient, hotel right next to North Terminal. Early flight meant we could only have limited breakfast (ie not cooked) which is disappointing as we booked this package because we had an early flight and there is no option to book without breakfast

Everything went very smoothly and the staff at the hotel were very helpful. Food for breakfast was okay. A bit restricted in choice than before probably due to COVID restrictions still in place.

Everything went very smoothly. Hotel was fabulous and the staff were very welcoming and friendly. The parking I couldn’t fault either, again the staff there were lovely.

I don't like being pressured into leaving my credit card details at 11pm for 'extras'. But madam you won't be able to buy water from the bar. Madam asks if they have mains water in the bathroom? We do the male receptionist says. I'll drink that. All I wanted was to sleep!!! Not buy overpriced hotel bar water!!!!

I went to the car park booked, it was then told to me that that car park didn't accept a VW caravelle. They gave me details of a car park that they said was part of your portfolio and took the vehicle. When i duly arrived there, i was told this was a common occurrence, and underhand tactics by HE. I had to pay the fee again. Living in Hythe, and knowing past directors of HE, and many present staff i was upset that 25 years of using you, i should be treated so poorly. Darren Ellis

The hotel was ok but the bar area and reception area felt like you was in a warehouse to big and open. No cosy atmosphere you expect in a hotel. Every thing else was fine room was ok and food excellent

We booked Hampton by Hilton with purple parking. Everything was as described by Holiday Extras. Easy to find the parking via their detailed instructions. Hotel was fantastic can walk from hotel straight into Gatwick airport. As we live a long way from Gatwick we always try not to fly from there but now we have found this hotel and parking it is so easy. Will definitely go back to this hotel it was great, lovely drinks on arrival and the rooms had everything you needed. Clean and the bedding and pillows were a lovely quality too, great nights sleep. Breakfast can’t fault it. Really good value for money. We will be back.

The hotel was good at Gatwick but regarding the transfer I had booked it didn’t turn up either way which meant we had to get taxis both ways at are own cost and stress trying to sort it out after we had landed something I didn’t want to do, we tried to call and no luck we even got the hotel to call England to you and the company in Mexico which was the taxi company again no reply or e mail very very unhappy with the situation. I use you many a times and this was unsatisfactory.

It was lovely to stay on the airport and drop off the car the night before so we did not have to worry about it on the morning of the flight. We just had to walk into the airport. Unfortunately we just missed a bus back to parking when we returned and had to wait 20 minutes.

Not at all happy. We booked a room with parking for a recent holiday. When we arrived at the hotel we were informed that we had to drive to the car park which was around 8 miles from Gatwick airport. When we arrived at the car park we were refused entry as we were driving our small personal van. We were informed that commercial vehicles couldn’t be parked in the car park. We were sent away and had to find alternative parking costing us double. When our booking was taken online it stated our full vehicle details but at no stage gave information that commercial vehicles couldn’t be parked. I have since been informed that this is part of the terms however when one’s booking and money is taken you would like to get the correct information and not add additional stress to what was meant to be a start to a rest.

We paid for parking twice as original booked parking place did not accept our vehicle despite payment being accepted online. It shows up as a vito but at no point did payment get refused during process. The Manager and staff at this sight were very rude and unhelpful. He lied to us he told us to drive to their sister company and park there. When we eventually got there it was very late and very dark as we were given wrong directions on a leaflet. They said it has happened mamy times where customers were under the impression they didnt have to pay and they do. It cost us £74.92 extra on top of the £176 we had already paid for hotel and parking. We had not even parked up and was stressed tired and in disbelief our holiday had started so bad. When we got to hotel the receptionist told me to give my card details and pay £50 deposit incase I order after 11pm. I refused and was told well you either pay or you cant have drinks after 11pm. I said thats fine and we were handed the key to our room. Horrid horrid start to the holiday.

The hotel was fine, very good. However, it was in the south terminal which no-one told me was closed. The car park bus dropped us at the north terminal and we had to make our own way there. Two people, mid-70s with heavy cases - no fun.

We had booked a hotel and Meet & Greet parking at the South Terminal at Gatwick airport in July for a holiday in December and it wasn’t until I rang to let them know we were 20 minutes away as per the email instructions, that I found out December and it no parking was taking place in the South terminal and we had to drive to the north terminal and make our way back to the south terminal terminal to stay at the hotel. There was an option to speak to someone on the phone to get the directions to the north terminal but the phone just rang and rang. This was very disappointing considering I made the booking in July and no one from Holiday Extras had contacted me to inform me of the changes which was particularly annoying ad I am B a wheelchair user and therefore getting from the north terminal where no we had to park the car to the hotel in the south terminal wasn’t easy.

Very happy with our experience. The parking arrangements at Purple Parking are well organised and worked very well at both ends of our holiday. The Hampton by Hilton hotel was super convenient as it was physically connected to the airport terminal, the staff on reception were friendly and helpful, the only negative on this occasion was that the continental (early morning) breakfast in the hotel was poorly organised and there was no fresh milk available, and it was a limited choice fr that standard of hotel (although to be fair the cooked offerings when they started at 6am were of good quality). Overall very happy with the package and would certainly use the hotel and parking arrangements again.

We booked a stay with parking as travelling with a 3 year old and did not fancy the super early start! The staff member at check-in was very friendly and efficient, and engaged with our daughter. The room was great, comfortable, very clean and had everything we required. Check-out was swift and being at the airport was exactly what we needed.

Location perfect as in the airport. Room small but quiet and bed was comfortable. Food in the hotel was very poor. We wouldn't eat there again. Very overpriced and service charge is added on to your bill before you receive your food and actually get any service. This is disgraceful.
